At the lawn inside the castle walls, Spankin' turned to them, hitching the backpack strap around her skinny shoulder. The tourists were looking, pointing and taking pictures of everything, even a bathroom plaque written in four idioms.

"Listen, I'm gonna hide in the bathroom and deactivate the security system from the computer, or at least find a floor plan of the castle with some... friends. The ear communicators are here. I can hear everything you say so, please, behave."

They tucked the communicator in the ears, and Clark held the girl by the shoulders, smiling before planting a kiss on her forehead. Hopkins furrowed his brow and Spankin' eyed Clark like she was, well... nuts.

"Go, darling! Mommy and daddy will be here waiting for you, yes?" Clark professed in high-pitched voice, looking like an actress from a vintage commercial. Spankin' squinted her eyes. Clark seemed bemused when whispered, "What? I'm trying to look convincing!"

"Yeah. I don't know if it was convincing, mommy, but it was hella scary." The girl chuckled. "Search for anything that resembles to Grisha's house. See you later."

When Spankin' had disappeared between the mass of tourists, Hopkins stared at Clark, who simply shrugged, sitting on a stone bench near some German girls. "Well, at least no one can say I didn't try."

"You'd be such a shitty mom." He chortled only to see Clark roll her beautiful eyes. Hopkins lend her a hand. "Let's go, cupcake. We have a medieval castle to explore."
