As I waited for the meeting, I watched cartoons on my phone. Unknowingly, I slipped into my little headspace. I, also, had some juice in a hello kitty cup. I'd managed to get even deeper when my coworker walked in. He turned, saw me, and his eyes widened. "There you are! We've been looking for you! You're late for the meeting !" "Don wanna. Is borin." He paused and then smiled and laughed. "Alright. What are you doing?" I gestured to my phone. "Cartoons? Nice. Do you kind of I watch them with you?" "No." So, he sat on the couch with me while we watched some cartoons and I slowly came out of my headspace. When I did, I tensed up and quickly apologized. James just shushed me. "I've had a little, darling. I know you can't help it. Just know, I'm here if you ever need me." With a kiss to my forehead, he left.
