There was a body hunched over near a grave, eyes staring at the cobblestone it was made of, as if they wanted it to crumble. As if the stone couldn't do the person justice, or in this case, gave them more than they'd ever deserved. For a brief moment, the person with the black hood pulled over their head paused to touch the stone, trace over the words and exhale, and before they knew it, someone was holding their shoulder. It was a boy his age, bright blue eyes shining and black hair brushed back carefully, and he held out his hand further to the stranger.
The person, the boy, pulled down his hood as well. He had messy, dirty blonde hair and the same kind of eyes, blue. But his were sad, and he didn't know what else he could squeak out to the boy. "Are you okay?" The black haired boy finally asked him, and smiled slightly, "I'm Phil."
The dirty blonde haired boy let his eyes drift to the hand outstretched, and he gave a condescending huff. "If I was okay, would I be at a graveyard?" He snapped, and Phil continued to hold out his hand, still smiling, still not backing down. He didn't seem to bother himself with the fact that the other boy was mad, didn't seem to care.
"You could be moving on."
The boy rolled his blue eyes, and continued to cross his arms over his chest. "You could be a murderer, 'Phil', and am I supposed to believe that's your name? What're you doing here anyways?" He accused, and Phil blinked back at him before pointing to a grave a few plots over.
"M'brother is buried over there." The black haired boy told him firmly, without faltering, and glanced at his hand, before he let it drop to his side again. "Can I at least know your name?" He continued, and the dirty blonde haired boy moved one hand to scratch the back of his neck.
"Benjamin... Benjamin Thacker."
Flashing a smile, Phil nodded. "Can I call you Benji?"
Benjamin squeezed his hands into fists. "If you want to die just like your brother, sure." He snapped, and Phil only slung an arm around the other boy and continued to smile cheerily.
"Kay."

honestly i realize how much you guys probably don't care about these side characters
and i'll admit i need to stop
but i can't because i love side characters i love adding onto things that aren't so main
