I know, I know. Gravity Falls isn't an anime, but a cartoon. I just wanted to try this out since I've been nostalgic about this show..... I miss it that much, okay?

Even if I watched Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero lately (That show is so underrated, I swear), I'm still rewatching Gravity Falls through video downloads in my tablet.

Anyway, I hope you at least try to enjoy this because this is the work of a bored and nostalgic girl, who only wanted Gravity Falls to last and for PZPTH to actually get out of it's underrated level.

Also, at this point, I won't mention any specific age aside from one memory here, where all three of them were 12 years old that time.

Warning: Kinda long for a one-shot

It was a snow day in the peaceful town of Gravity Falls-

Well, as peaceful as it can get.

A lot has happened in this quaint and old town ever since the well-known Pine twins arrived. I've always witnessed the mishaps that occurred in the streets or the events involving it.

Like the time I took a leisurely stroll around the Mystery Shack when my parents came to buy something for my cousin as a memoir before he leaves to go back to California. He only came for a five-day stay due to his parents sending him here, it only backfired because he caused a tantrum.

I was walking by when I saw a golf cart on its side, dents apparent on the white vehicle and the top weirdly bent in. My eyes swept over to see the Pine twins, seeming as if they had just been chased in the forest with all the leaves stuck in their messed-up hair.

I immediately hid in the bushes as soon as my eyes landed on the red, enormous gnome-monster-thing. After I saw the twins beat the gnomes with a leafblower, I quietly went back to my parents with an astonished look on my face. That was how I knew the Pine twins.

Enough about that. I did say something about a snow day, right?

It's December and the town has been in a ruckus preparing for Christmas. People were out to go Christmas shopping, some were heading to the diner for some hearty and warm breakfast while the children were playing in the snow and basking at the white-coated grounds.

Speaking of people, the whole town's in hushed whispers and small talk was going around about the Pine twins' return here.

Men and women who encountered or knew the twins were either excited, annoyed or indifferent about this. The twins had made a huge difference to this very town in Oregon and were marked as the Mystery Twins due to what they've done here.

Mostly about the mysterious and supernatural occurrences here.

While people were enjoying the Christmas atmosphere and the snow, I cooped myself up in the town library. The library smelled of new and old books and it was quite warm in here.

A scarf adorned my neck, covering my mouth, as I read a book revolving around the town and its conspiracies.

Don't even ask how I got this. All I know is that I found it in the darkest corners of the library and read it, the book flat on its cover to hide it from anyone else's view. The crisp paper being flipped rang in my ears as the smell of an old book lingered in the air and entered my nose, luring me in to read more of it.
