"So...what do we do? Just...mix them together or something?" August asked.

"Yeah, I guess." Sarah shrugged. "Um, here's a puzzle. How is a solid ring supposed to mix in with water and tears of gold?" Jax asked.

"I'll figure it out!" Sarah yelled. "Look, it's all been hard on us, you know? With us still trying to find out who the heck is the Osirian, and the rest of our... business going on, how can you not expect any of us to be stressed out?" Robert settled down.

"Speaking of, Rhys, August, how's Osirian research going?" Riley wondered.

"I was put on Osirian duty?" August asked.

"Uh-I went to visit Uncle Eddie. Since, you know, he was the Osirian. He said that the Chosen One and the Osirian are polar opposites." Rhys explained.

"That's good! Um, so let's get started."

MacKenzie knocked on Duncan's door. "I'm not here!"

MacKenzie walked in. Duncan's smile faded into a frown. "What?"

"Okay, I'm really sorry about the article. I'm sorry about everything...about being jealous of you and Arielle, about over excessively worrying about you and your sports, about..." MacKenzie sighed. "...you get the gist. Please forgive me? I miss you." MacKenzie stepped to hold Duncan's hand.

"I deleted the article." Duncan looked down.

Now I know how August felt, he thought.

"I forgive you. We can be together." Duncan smiled. They hugged.

Duncan looked over MacKenzie's shoulder and saw Arielle at his door, on the verge of tears.

She ran away. Duncan sighed.

Sarah placed the ring in her hand. She started to mutter some words that weren't English.

"What is she doing?" Leslie asked. "Her job." Rhys answered.

The ring began to melt in her hand, until it was completely liquid and she could pour it in the Grail of Anubis.

She took the tears of gold, and poured it in, then she took the water of the Nile River, and did the same.

"Okay, how do I bless this?" Sarah asked. "That's something you're going to have to figure out on your own, Sarah." Robert answered.

"Okay..." Sarah covered the mouth of the Grail, and closed her eyes. She chanted something over and over again, until she finally said, "I bless the Grail of Anubis."

She uncovered the Grail, and saw that the ring was back to solid, and that the tears of gold and the water didn't mix. "What happened?" Sarah asked. "Why didn't it work?"

"Maybe this is like that 'Cup of Ankh' situation. You know, the one you told us about. Maybe the water for the Grail of Anubis can only be made on a certain day, on a certain time, with a certain person." Rhys suggested.

"Maybe. But, how are we supposed to figure that out?" Riley wondered.

"Leave that to me." Robert stated.

"It's 9:30. Go, go back to your rooms." Leslie ordered.

After the boys left, Arielle walked in. Riley, Sarah, and Leslie hid the Grail of Anubis.

"Leslie, I'm changing rooms with you. I will now be staying with Sarah and Riley." She stated.

"Wait-why?" Leslie asked.

"Let's just say, MacKenzie is the worst sister mankind could ever meet."

Leslie rubbed her arm. "Duncan and her got back together. And we kissed today, so why-"

"-you don't have to give me an explanation, Arielle. I'll switch. We'll just switch our pillows and blankets and get the rest of our things tommorow." Leslie grabbed the things from her bed, and walked to her and MacKenzie's room.

At school the next day, August and Duncan were looking for Arielle.

Finally, they both saw her at her locker. When she saw them, she grumbled.

"What?" She asked.

"We need to talk about what happened yesterday." Duncan said.

"No, we need to talk about what happened yesterday."

Arielle looked between them, and thought about everything they both ever put her through.

"No. To both of you." Arielle walked past them. "What?" They asked. They speeded to her.

"I feel like you two a-are...hell-bent on making my life miserable, and-"

"We're not, we-"

"No. I am done with the 'Brothers Campbell'."

I always thought that the first person to say the word 'hell' in my book would be someone like Jax or Riley. Huh.

Will Duncan and MacKenzie last?

Can Arielle move on?

Does the Grail of Anubis ingredients have to be mixed on a certain day, certain time?
