I stared wide-eyed at a frightened, regretful seeking Alpha.
Tired of being in the dark, my stare hardened, "Alpha Blaze, I demand to know what's going on! I deserve to know!"
The Alpha just looked down, shoulders sagged. That's when he broke down. Right in front of me. He dropped to him to knees, body weak as his eyes rained. They rained hard. His whole body shook uncontrollably.
"Why are you here? Why are you here? You're gone! You're supposed to be gone! You're dead! You're dead!" he looked in great pain, defeated even.
I processed his words, eyebrows furrowing, "Dead? Me?" I shook my head, it couldn't be, "You must be mistaken, Alpha Blaze. I can't be dead. You're mistaken."
