I got lost...
In your eyes
As they were clear
as the lake's surface
Shining on a summer day
In your smile
As it grinned
like the Cheshire Cat's
In your arms
As they felt
like home to me
In the rhythm of
your heart beat
As it jumped through
your shirt and gave
me something to dance to
In the hope
that you wouldn't
rip my heart out
and crush it
Somewhere along the way....
