One- Disappointment

Brooklyn's pov
We got home and they sat me on the couch.

"So honey.. we've been discussing and thinking a lot..."

"Wait... Are you sending me somewhere... what did I do?" I say..

"Brooklyn.."

"No tell me."

"Well we want you to marry a boy of our choice.." my dad finished..

"I JUST FINISHED HIGH SCHOOL AND YOU WANT ME TO MARRY?!"

"Just listen will you!" My mother says.

"Its someone from your school.."

"Well you walked with him to get your diploma today." Dad says.

"Whatever.." I run up to my room to find that my dad and Mon took the lock off my door.

"We knew you would lock yourself on your room." Dad shout from down stairs.

The next morning mom immediately takes up to the back balcony.

"Boys... I've been thinking... and I've talked to people..."

"Yea..."

"You both have a day to prepare for someone you're going to be marrying. "

"What mom!?" I tell.

"Don't yell at me." My mom said calmly.

"You've got to be kidding me." Ethan walks out.

Whatever... I thought.

I just stayed in my room.. my mom won't actually do that to us.

*a Day later*

"Hey mom." I say.

"So?" She says.

"Did you think and are you ready to face this?" she asked.

"Cmon mom... give it up."

"No I... I don't want this." I say starting to tear up.

"Believe it or not... my parents did the same thing with me.. I absolutely hated your dad... but give it time. You'll love her."

Ugh it's been a day since I talk to my mom.

"Sweetie! Today's the day we get to have a meeting with the Dolan's"

Me- omg you won't ever believe what my parents are making me do.
