"I really don't want to go to first period," you groaned to your best friend, Lydia, as she dragged you down the hall.

"Come on AP Bio isn't that bad. Sure Mrs. Finch is a little boring but she's not horrible," Lydia speed walked down the hall and you struggled to catch up with her. How could she walk so fast in heels?

"Easy for you to say. You don't have to sit next to Theo Raeken for a whole hour."

"So?" She flipped her strawberry blond hair over her shoulder. "He's cute. And he's available." She winked.

You rolled your eyes. "Yeah right. He's cute and all but he's so cocky. And I don't trust him."

Now she rolled her eyes. "You sound like Stiles. I think you've been spending a little too much time with him."

"He has a point though," you argued. "Theo could be dangerous." Being a human in a pack of supernatural creatures, you had to be careful. You were the most vulnerable to get hurt.

"Yeah but he could also be a sweetheart. You can't judge a book by it's cover Y/N."

By now, you had reached the AP Biology classroom and from your spot in the doorway, you could see Theo sitting at your shared lab table. He noticed you and waved, sending you a smile. You fought the urge to roll your eyes.

"Don't frown," Lydia scolded. "Someone could be falling in love with your smile." She nodded to Theo and then took her seat.

You begrudgingly sat in your assigned seat as you began pulling your notebook from your bag. You felt Theo's eyes on you the whole time. "Is there something I can help you with?"

"Do you have an extra pen?" He asked in that low voice of his.

You handed one to him without even looking in his direction.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning," he muttered under his breath.

You turned to face him. "Excuse me?"

"I mean you'e not the nicest person ever but I've never seen you this bad before. Maybe I should be going after Lydia instead. She'd probably treat me a lot better than you do." His eyes flickered towards the strawberry blond.

You scoffed. "In your dreams. Lydia would never go for you."

"You never know what people might do. Who knows? You might even end up falling for me." He winked at you.

You rolled your eyes and turned your attention to Mrs. Finch, who was starting her lesson.

You rubbed your tired eyes as you struggled to focus on the Trigonometry worksheet in front of you. The school library was not crowded on a Friday night of course but you being the overachiever you were decided to get in some extra studying for Monday's test. You were just about to pack up your belongings when a figure appeared at your table. Theo.

"Are you stalking me now?" You half-joked.

He shook his head. "I was studying and I saw you. Figured you might need a ride home."

You quickly shook your head. There was no way you were getting into a vehicle with Theo Raeken. "Nope. I can walk."

He looked through the window and eyed the night sky. "You're going to walk home alone in the dark?"
