Liam's POV

A little over half an hour later, we were seated in the waiting room again. She told me I could leave, but even if I wanted to, I wouldn't. Not only would Stiles kill me, I would also hate myself if anything were to happen. Knowing this hospital, bad things are bound to happen.

I tried to make small talk with her, but she wouldn't have it. Just like when we first encountered, she's snappy and annoyed.

"You're worse than Stiles." I mumbled.

"Then go! I told you to leave a million times before, if you hate me so much just go." She cried out.

Her words were shocking, honestly. Of course I don't hate her. If anything, I hate myself for thinking the way I did. "I never said I hated you." I mumbled, keeping my voice as monotone as possible to hide my shock. "You're just frustrating." It's just frustrating to be a werewolf with anger issues, that's all. Of course I could never tell her this.

So, yeah, there are days where I still hate Scott for doing what he did to me. Even though I know it was the only way to save my life. I was strong before, I could hurt people if I wanted to, really bad. As if the things I could do weren't scary enough already, all my power intensified with the bite.

I'm stupid enough to bring up the fact that Stiles has trouble trusting me. Stiles has trouble trusting anyone, but that's beyond the point here. Of course she wanted to know what happened, but I can't be the one to tell her. Stiles warned me, he wants her to stay out of this. I think it's impossible, but I won't be the one to tell. She wouldn't believe me, anyways.

"Maybe you should talk to Scott." I told her. It probably wasn't my best suggestion, talking to Scott means she has to go behind Stiles' back. But what other choice is there? Staying in Beacon Hills can be dangerous for her, in ways she can't even imagine.

Your POV

"Thanks again for inviting me." You smile at Melissa before the two of you hug.

"Of course, you're always welcome here." Melissa says. "Let's get cooking."

In the kitchen, you work on the batter while Melissa bakes the first batch of pancakes. Scott invited some of his friends over as well, so you decided pancakes would be easiest to do for a large group.

"How's your head?" Melissa asks.

"Good," You nod. It's been three days since you smashed right into Liam, and the pain is gone, the only evidence left of that day are the coffee soaked jeans you keep forgetting to throw out. "I'm okay, thanks."

"What about school? Made any friends?"

"Not yet, no." You shake your head slightly. "My uncle made me stay at home Friday, just to be sure I was okay. Before that the only ones that bothered talking to me were Stiles and Scott." You shrug.

"It will happen." Melissa smiles. "Look at Stiles and Scott, they made a bunch of friends, even have girlfriends..." she trails off a little. "I heard you were doing quite well in that department, bet you left some guy waiting for you to return back home." She smiles.

"Past sense, yeah. I'm pretty sure he's glad I skipped town. Things didn't end so well."

Behind you, someone clears their throat. Both you and Melissa turn around, when you're faced with Liam, you're instantly annoyed again.

"Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt." He says.

"That's okay, Scott is upstairs." Melissa tells him.
