Last Breath - Theo

This was it, this was the battle that everyone was waiting for. A face off between Scott's pack and The Dread Doctors. Going over the battle plan one last time the nerves were really starting to kick in. Looking over at everyone each wore a different expression, Scott of course was putting a brave face for his pack, you could tell Stiles was anxious, Lydia was just as nervous as anyone, you couldn't tell what Malia was feeling, Kira was in the middle, Liam looked ready to fight, Theo was determined to win and you...well your emotions were on over drive.

"Remember guys we stick together, no matter what happens we all stick together" Scott instructed.

Everyone nodded and each split to their own teams, Scott along with Liam and Theo were going to go in first. Lydia was with you and the two of you were going to be on stand by just in case the fight came to where you guys were. And Malia and Kira were going to be hidden until it was time to attack.

Theo pulled you aside, "I don't want you to go" he bluntly said.

"I'm not going to sit back and allow my friends and you to walk into danger. I'm coming Theo please don't bench me. I can help, I know I can" you told him.

He kissed you hard, and with so much intensity. "What was the for" you asked him

"I love you" he simply whispered.

You loved hearing those 3 words come out of his mouth, cupping his cheek you whispered "I love you too".

It was time to head to where the Dread Doctors were, it was time to fight.

Everyone got out of their vehicles, "Okay guys if anyone wants to back out now no one is going to hold it against them" Scott asked.

"Were a pack, we fight together" you said.

"Yeah Scott, were with you until the end" Stiles added.

Your heart was beating super fast and with each step the more real this all became. These weren't just any villains, they managed to recreate the supernatural rules. And beating them wasn't going to be easy.

Waiting with Lydia you looked down at your hands which were shaking. Lydia grabbed them and gave you a light smile. "They'll be okay" she said.

"I know, but anything can happen" you replied.

"That's true, but they'll make it. He'll come back to you".

You squeezed her hand, she was nervous as well you could tell. The only thing replaying in your back was "we will all be fine". It was replayed like a mantra and that was the one thing keeping you together.

It was beyond worrying that the boys still hadn't come back, were their okay? Did they defeat the Dread Doctors? So many thoughts racing, and not one did you have the answer too. Lydia nudged you and Kira and Malia came running.

"What is it?" you asked, fear written on your face.

"They're coming, we need to fight" Kira said.

"Then let's fight" Malia's eyes glowed blue and in the distance you saw the Dread Doctors coming closer.

Scott and Stiles came, but you saw no sign of Theo. "Where's Theo?" you panicked looking frantically around.

"His with Liam, his safe" Scott assured you.

Breathing a sign of relief you got into position. Since you had no supernatural abilities you had to rely on your combat skills. Training with Kira had taught you so many things you didn't know you were capable of all. One Dread Doctor came at you, Scott stepped in blocking each of it's movement. Striking from behind he turned and pushed you backwards, landing on the ground you groaned at the impact.

Malia came rushing to help you up, since they were 3 Dread Doctors Scott and you were fighting one, Lydia and Malia were fighting the second. And Kira was fighting the third while Stiles was devising a way to use their frequency against them.

Blocking several attacks, you tuned around and not expecting anyone to be there the Dread Doctor with a cane drove it right through your stomach. Scott looked on in horror and the Dread Doctors looked at the station and left, everyone came rushing.

Everything around you was going in slow motion, the shock on each of there faces showed you that this was bad. In the distance you saw Theo helping Liam, they both saw that the Dread Doctors were no way in sight. And that's when you saw the fear in Theo's face.

"No, no, no, no" Theo yelled running towards you, Scott moved aside and allowed Theo to hold you.

Feeling the energy and light leave your body you used as much strength you had to hold his hand. "It's okay" you said to him.

"No, don't you dare say that Y/N! Stay with me okay" he pleaded.

You felt a tear roll down your cheek, Theo brushed it away with his thumb. "I feel tired" you told him.

"Just keep your eyes on me babygirl, I've got you. Just focus on my voice"

You saw the tears in everyone's eyes. Stiles was holding onto Lydia, Malia was looking at you, Kira couldn't believe that this is how it turned out and you saw guilt in Scott's eyes for putting you in a situation where you could get hurt. But what broke your heart in two was Theo, you knew that this was it, this was the end. And after you were gone Theo would shut down, and be angry and do something he would most likely regret. You needed him to know, you needed to tell him that this wasn't his fault.

"I love you, and I need you to know that what happened isn't your fault. You showed me what it's like to have someone love you and fight for you, so thank you".

"No Y/N, I'm not going to lose you" he said through blurry eyes.

"Please don't blame yourself, I need you to promise me that you won't blame yourself. I will always love you Theo Raeken, and I will always be here with you".

Your eyes were feeling heavy, and your body was feeling weak. You took several deep breathes, touched Theo's lips one last time and closed your eyes.

Expect this time you didn't open them, there was no pulse, no heartbeat...you had slipped away.

"Y/N, Y/N...no come on babygirl open your eyes! Please don't leave me, open your eyes"

He kissed your forehead and the only words he kept repeating where "I'm sorry", reality hit him as he was cradling your body that you weren't coming back, silence fell and everyone had no words to describe what just had happened.

They had lost you, Theo had lost you.
