I pulled up to the HUGE mansion. I got out of my car and walked over to my blonde haired friend, Jake. "Hey Jake." I said giving him spark plug from behind. " Hey Laurel, I'm glad you could make it." He said wrapping his arm around my waist. Jake Reville, was always the dream boy from school that every girl wanted some from, but not me. He has always been a friend, ONLY a friend. "Earth to Laurel." Jake said waving his hand in front of my face. " W-what?" I said snapping out of my trace. " I said let's go swim." I nodded,we walked out back to his huge pool. I took of my sandals and cover up, exposing my body. My swimsuit only covering my most private parts. I pulled my hair into a high ponytail. I felt somebody's strong arms wrap around me. " Jake put me down!" I yelled pounding my fists on his back. "Never." He said,flinging me into the pool, as if i weighed nothing.After being thrown in all the guys surrounded me. " H-hi." I said waving. "Don't be shy beautiful." Said a familiar voice. My eyes widened and turned my head. " A-Ashton?!" I said slowly getting out of the pool. "Laurel stay from him." Said Jake,stepping in front of me. " Jake I can handle him myself." I said walking over to Ashton. " What do you want Ashton?" I I'd clenching my fists. " what I can't come see what my girlfriend is doing with her " girlfriends". Said Ashton putting quotations around girlfriends. "Ash I can't explain. " There's no need to explain laurel!! Said Ashton grabbing my wrist. " Ashton we're though!" I yelled. Ashton's grip released, "what did you just say?"he looked very pale. Hie bright brown were now dark brown, filled sadness, and hatred. "You're only breaking up with me so you can be with that douche Jake! Isn't the truth!?!" He said pushing past me, toward jake. I grabbed Ashton arm, " No Ashton it isn't. It's because we barley talk anymore." I said turning him around, gripping his shoulders. His brown eyes, meeting my Bight blue eyes. " I love you." He whispered. I scoffed, " I don't love you" I said walking away from Ashton. I kissed Jake on the cheek and thanked him. I picked my stuff up and drove away. I'm going somewhere, somewhere far away from Him.
