Step 1.

Open up a blank background in Superimpose, and then your model.

Depending on the background you chose, change the exposure and brightness (make it black for light backgrounds, and white for dark backgrounds)

Step 2.

Open up the image below as your foreground, or any other flower background:

Place it over your image, and then go to screen.

Merge and save.

Step 3.

Open up the same model as before, and place it over the shadow, but move it a bit, so it doesn't cover up the whole thing.

You can play around with the filters if you wish.
