I had just finished getting cassandra out the tub for roc because he had to sell work. we was runnin off track. we had to put in extra work cuz people was gettin caught. i put cassandra her pajamas on and laid her in the bed

casey: tank you. she said with a smile

me: oh no problem baby

she got out the bed and grabbed something out her bag and handed to me

casey: read please

me: okay

i looked through the big book and picked a story. as i was reading she fell asleep.i put the book up and kissed her forehead and told her goodnight. i went into chres room and sat on the bed and turned on the tv. as i was watching tv i was wondering how it would be if i had a child with roc. it ran passed my mind. then roc came in put his hat,keys, and gun up on the dresser.

me: hey

chres: hey. he said in a low tone and left back out.

when we can back in he only had on jogging pants. he came and laid between my legs and held my waist and laid his head on my stomach and i ran my hands through his curls. he looked up at me and kissed me and grined at me.

chres: where's casey?

me: she's in the other room sleeping

chres: thanks for watching her for me while i was out

me: no biggie

he looked at me and kissed me

chres: im sorry how i've been acting lately i just been stressin and-

i kissed him to shut him up. i rubbed shoulders and kissed his neck

me: its okay , its okay baby i understand thats why im here

chres: and thats why you gone stay here.

me: so. where's her mother

chres stayed silent for a second

chres: no one knows

me: when was the last time you saw her

chres: before she decided to leave casey on my door step and go m.i. a

me: tell me the story

chres: cassidy was the girl of my dreams. we were highschool sweethearts. i intendent to marry and give kids to this girl. she had me wrapped around her finger and i did every and anything for that girl. She never told me that she was pregnant with casey. and one day she broke up with me. he also cheated too. She made me never wanna love again. since then she was the reason i played girls. she was all i wanted. and i thought i could trust her but i couldnt. i didnt wanna love again. then one day it was raining and i was home alone and it was a knock on the door and it was a basket that held a 2 week old baby. i saw her going across the street. and she looked back at me and disappeared into the night. she left a note explaining how casey was my child and that she couldnt take care of her and she was leaving.

the story bothered me. how could she leave her child like that

me: well its okay cuz she has us

roc turned around and tackled me and layed on top of me and kissed me.

chres: and thats why i have you

after while we layed down. then i heard the door slightly open and i saw casey with her bear.

me: cassandra baby is that you?

she nodded head while crying

me: whats wrong baby?

she started to cry more

casey: i want lay wiff you and my daddy

chres: casey baby come here

casey ran up to the bed and chres grabbed her and layed her between us. she layed her head and went to sleep and i watched them for a second. i saw how she looked liked me and roc together and not understanding. but i just said to myself this is my new family and went to sleep.
