Part 85

Things were getting hard for her, she was lost in so many ways. "Why don't they love me anymore? " Cassandra thought ever day when she was in that boarding school. She thought "Would they ever come and save me? All the sorrowful nights she spent,  crying herself to sleep, wishing her daddy would come and save her and protect her. For him not to ever come to see her, it broke her heart. She learned to be strong, she did the things Shaniia taught her to be strong, she kept her head up high and tried not to look down. No one new what she was going through, the little girl they raised was now 11, and she wasnt a baby anymore. They beat her when she answered something wrong, when they thought she did something wrong, or getting touched on by a guard 3 times out of the week. Cassandra woke by they sound of the alarm over the intercom waking all the girls, she looked over to see her roommate, Reign, who was still asleep. Casey rushed to her and tried waking her up by shaking her rapidly

"Re, get up, the alarm went off, we have to get dressed or else" she said whining

Reign raised up from out of the bed and stretched her arms as she wiggled her toes. She looked at Casey with a smile as she seemed as if, something was bothering her. She pulled her down on her bed and hugged her.

"Stop worrying Case, there gonna call or maybe even visit soon, I promise" she said with a grip on her

"But it's been almost a year and a half Re, what did I do so wrong? " she said as she was talking but before she could finish, Albert, the guard who kept trying to touch the 2 girls, came into the room and smerked at them and focused on Casey

"Your mother, she called, she scheduled to see you, you need to look decent,  at least half, go now get dressed," he said sternly and slammed the door

Cassandra flopped down on the bed in disbelief, she wanted to cry so much because she missed her more than ever. Reign came and jumped on the bed shouting

"I told you so, I, told you so!" She explained. Casey pulled her down to the bed causing her to stop jumping

"Unless you want your mother asking where, another bruise came from, I advise you to stop now" Casey said with a little stern in her voice, she saw how reign eyes became to get glossy and she new she was wrong

"Wanna help me get ready?" She asked with a grin

"I would love to help you" she said with a smile

Cassandra got and the Luke warm shower she hated and bathe herself the best that she could. When done she dried off and came to the room and looked at her bed to see what Reign left out for her to where. It was a purple long button down polo shirt with a lime green horse on it with a black suit skirt with a pair of black flats. 

"I remember you always saying how she would always love to dress you like a little business lady so, I picked this." She said admiring the outfit

Casey, liked what she picked out, she wondered if this would be the last day she would be here, how thrilled she would be, but sadness struck her as she thought of leaving Reign by herself.  Everyone picked on her because she spoke with a heavy french accent but she had a tan to her, she is a very pretty girl and and has long dark brown cascading hair. It was hard enough growing up with a french mother and a black father.She didn't want to think of it anymore.

"Wanna do my hair?" Casey asked Reign as she motioned Casey to come sit between her legs. 

Casey came and sat a Reign began to braid her hair into 2 french braids.

"Cassandra, I want you to know if today is they day to you leave,  can you at least call me yanno? Let me know you're okay, and write me. " She said with a soft tone as Casey felt her tears fall on her shirt, then Reign clipped a bow to the end of her braids.

Casey stood up to look at Reign, she was also the same age as casey, she hugged her tight and embraced her

Reign, I won't forget about you ever, I will call and write you everyday okay, I promise that I will always be your bestfriend no matter what, where is nothing they can do to us, they can NOT break us, and they will not! We are all we need. Casey said as her eyes glossed and she held Reign. Casey let her go and smiled at as she smiled back and chuckled as she wiped her tears.  Just them Albert came in to get casey, Casey walked to the door and looked back, and thinking this would maybe be the last time she would see her only friend.

Albert pushed Casey and slammed the door. Casey walked nervously in front of Albert as he pervertedly looked at her. He slid his hand down her back to butt and spoke to her

"I wonder if you get your looks and body from your mother?" He said while laughing lightly at her.

Casey closed her eyes tight and bald up her fist like she did any other time he would feel on her. Casey reached the door opening and saw a lady turned about with long black hair. With a flare tank top, some high waist shorts and Jordans on. Casey began to cry so hard she couldn't catch her breathe.

"I guess I was right" Albert stated to her. " stand at the door in till I buzz you in" he said as he went to the other side to buzz her in. Casey heard the buzzer and ran like that was her que to go.

"Mommy" Casey yelled to hee mother.

Shaniia turned around to see her tall jewel that she always admired. Shaniia gasped for air as she to began to run to her baby.  To shaniia it felt like a dream, this wasn't real, she wasn't seeing her baby she thought. She caught Cassandra in her arms and hugged her so tight like she wanted to suck the air out her living body but, casey didn't care because cherished thus moment like it was her only one. Shaniia let go and looked at her with her hands on the sides of her face. She saw her eyes that were light brown that were filled with love, pain, and sorrow. Shaniia began to apologize to her baby

"Cassandra baby, I so sorry, I didn't want to send you here for so long baby, I was so scared for you, you Dada thought it was safe for you here, baby all you have to do is say you're ready to go." She said trying to stop crying so hard

Cassandra heard everything she was saying but all, she could do was look at that door and ask one question.

"Mommy, where's my dad"?, she asked with a dry voice

Did she really have to ask this question?  How could I say he didn't care anymore

"Baby,  I left again because,  your daddy isn't a good person. right now,  and he needs to be on his own for a while, or you can get the choice of being with him?" She asked

" I just want to be with you right now" she cried

" What's wrong baby"? Shaniia whispered with a smile

"Mommy, they hurt-" she stopped as soon as she saw Albert watching them talk.," mamma, mi hanno fatto male tanto male mamma, hanno battuto in me quasi ogni giorno (mommy, they hurt me so bad mommy, they beat on me almost every day). quell'uomo laggiù, mi toccava

(That man over there, he touched me) she said as she looked Albert in his cold eyes

Shaniia felt like a fool and the worst person on earth, how could someone ever do that to her baby

"Were leaving baby, we'll come back next week to come back" Shaniia said as she dragged Cassandra out of the school with out even getting to say goodbye to Reign
