Haruji: Are you sure you should be playing after you feel on your head?

We were sitting on the bleachers as Mr. Madison took attendance. Everyone was in school uniform.

Sakura: Yeah. It's not that bad. I don't have a concussion or have my skull open.

Haruhi: Still.

Sakura: I'm alright. There have been worse.

Mr. Madison: Ok today. For the next few weeks we'll be doing pickleball. (Author's note: pickleball is like ping pong but bigger and is an actual sport) Today I will teach you the basics then you and a partner must practice those skills.

After he explains and shows, Haruhi and I grab a paddle and head to one of the courts. We were practicing when we heard a ruckus from where the guys mainly were. They were playing games. We looked and they were doing it all wrong.

Sakura: Boys. A species that lacks in intelligence.

Haruhi: You know boys are-

Sakura: Yes but in this generation, it's hard to find intelligent boys. Especially playing a game without practicing is wrong especially if you are doing it wrong.

Haruhi: Well do you wanna go one on one?

Sakura: Not yet. I want to practice on my back hand pass.

Haruhi: Sure.

We kept on practicing and I still couldn't do it.

Sakura: Ugh! I'm never gonna do it.

Haruhi: Sure you will. You just need to practice.

Sakura: It doesn't seem like it.

Mark walks towards us.

Mark: Hey, Sakura and Haruhi. How are you guys doing?

Sakura: Horrible.

Haruhi: She's upset that she can't use a back hand pass.

Mark: Well no one can yet. But I think you can do it Sakura. It seems like you are doing far better than everyone in class.

Sakura: Thanks Mark.

He walks away.

Haruhi: You two would look cute together.

Sakura: We are just companions.
