Natasha's P.O.V

"Percy Jackson?" I asked. The man was slightly older than his file photo. Broader shoulders, thicker build. The hair was the same though, slightly unkept and jet black. And his eyes, still sea green, but deep with experience. The same eyes I've seen on most SHIELD agents.

"Yes" He said. His voice was a deep velvety jingle.

"Thanks again. She cute, is she yours?" His file said nothing about offspring.

"No, this is my sister Andromeda. Say hi!" he cooed to the child. She waved with her tiny palm and I smiled back.

"Can I help you?" He eyed my form, eyes catching on my thigh where my knife sheath rested. The coffee shop had a decent amount of civilians in it and with his sister so close to him he likely was assessing collateral damage.

"Yes actually. Do you know who I am?" I asked. He nodded slowly and tightened his hold on his sister.

"Good. Then you also know who I work for. We just want to ask you a few questions." He opened his mouth to respond but I cut him off.

"You're a hard man to pin down Percy. I'd almost say I'm impressed with your elusive nature but I don't want to waste my time tracking you down again. Come with me." I finished my sentence and moved towards the door, opening and holding it out for them. He eyed me carefully one more time before moving his legs towards the exit. We then made our way to Stark Towers.

When we went up to the Avengers floor his mouth along with Andromeda's went wide open. This was just the lounge. A lounge with a huge holographic flat-screen, patent leather couches and seats, metal vases that showed flashing images. Also a round coffee table that was capable of showing a holographic map of the entire world, mission briefings, schematics and so much more. Percy set down and Andromeda and let her roam free throughout the lounge. He went over to Stark's new and improved a bar and looked at the many drinks.

"You drink?" I said

"Oh no. I've just never seen this much in one place." he says.

Andromeda was running around the room, laughing and running her hand over the furniture. I can see that Percy had a problem with that, he kept telling her to stop and come to him but she didn't listen. She accidentally knocked over one of the priceless gems that Tony kept on his tables. Before I could reach for it, Percy swiftly picked it out of the air before it shattered into pieces. He moved so fast I didn't have time to react. He placed it back on its stand and picked up Andromeda.

"Andro! See that's why Paul keeps you away from his office. Now sit down and stay there." He sat her on the couch and took two steps back. As if waiting for her to get back up. She didn't. Smart girl. He sat down in a nearby leather armchair and put his hands on the inside of his palms. Much like a child would do. He began humming a song and tapping his foot to an unknown rhythm.

"Getting antsy?" I said. He looked up and rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure my case file says 'ADHD' in bold somewhere." He kept on humming.

Fury walked in typical secret agent fashion. He dropped the aforementioned file on Percy's lap. He thumbed the cover open, spotting the bold text and key details about himself. He smirked and looked up at me.

"Told you so." I chuckled.

"Mr. Jackson you're a hard man to pin down. Care to explain that long list of unexplained incidents?" Fury stood 4 feet from Percy with his arms crossed glaring daggers at the man.

"Even if I could read the full list to you, it would be a lot of explaining."

"You should get comfortable then." Fury shot back. Percy clenched his jaw.

"You don't tell me what to do Director Fury."

Fury scoffed. "Now you and I both know how these things play out. I want something, I make sure I get it. And I have Agent Romanoff to thank for that mostly."

"I bet the world would find it interesting to know The Avengers are pulling innocent people off the street." He said very calmly.

Fury scoffed again. "We'd handle the press before they could even type a word. And you wouldn't even make it to the lobby if you tried anything. Is this supposed to be some threatening display?"

"Oh you'll know when I'm making a threat." Fury and Percy tossed silence for a few moments. My eyes went to the little girl sitting down on the couch. She eyed the both of us and reached for Percy.

"We don't want to hurt you. We just have questions. We've contacted Andromeda's parents-" Percy cut me off before I could finish.

"Did you use a phone?" He asked worriedly

"Yeah, why?" I replied.

"Shit."

Just then something burst through the wall, blowing us off our feet and to the other side of the room. When the dust cleared there was a huge- no giant dog standing over us. My ears were ringing but I could hear Percy speak something in Greek.

"Get Andromeda to safety!" Percy yelled. I looked over to him and he was holding a 3 foot long bronze sword. The monster roared and charged at Percy.
