Natasha's P.O.V

I barely had enough time to grab Andromeda and move to the far corner of the room. So I took cover behind the turned over couch and shielded Andromeda from the wreckage. Fury took cover behind a far away pillar and motioned me to stay down. He brought two fingers to his eyes, telling me to simply watch.

I lifted my head to do just that and found Percy quickly. He was up close with the beast swinging his sword in careful arcs, cutting and slashing the monster. I could tell he's had some training. When the monster lunged at Percy with its massive fangs, he skillfully rolled underneath and sprung up to slice it's underbelly. He launched into offense, moving as if there was another person beside him. Guiding him and aiding him in battle. It was a sight to behold. I was so mesmerized into the fight that I just nimbly missed a piece of rock flying by me. When I looked back the monster was gone. There was a huge pile of dust where it once stood. Fury had emerged from the shadows with his gun trained on Percy. I did the same.

"Who are you?" I asked in wonder

Panting and sweating he said "I am Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. God of the Sea"

Percy was taken to a detention center on the lower levels. The rest of the team was called in to get a read on the kid and assess whether or not he had potential as an Avenger. It seemed a pretty odd jump from the attitude Fury had earlier but I didn't question it. From the one way glass I could see Percy setting his jaw and shaking his leg under the metal table. Stark and Banner filed in behind me talking to Fury about something I couldn't be bothered to eavesdrop on.

"I want to talk to him first." I said.

"No. Stark will open him up. I want you in afterwards Romanoff." Fury ordered. The back of my teeth grinded silently but I nodded.

"This should be fun." Tony said from my left shoulder. He skipped to the door and swung it open with too much excitement and and made his way into the room to sit opposite of Percy.

"How you doing today? She's a cutie by the way." Tony started. Percy looked at him confused.

"The kid. She's cute. Is she yours?" Tony clarified

"No, she's my sister. Thanks."

"So...Percy, what's your story man? I fly in from Paris to see my lounge trashed and covered in...monster dust, I believe the agents called it."

Percy shared a guilty look. "Sorry about that. Someone used a phone near me and it's not very good for demigods. It's like sending up a flare for all the monster who want me dead to find me."

Tony pondered this. "What could a bunch of monster want with a 17 year old?

"I'm 19."

"Ah 19. Yes. Sorry. Your files a little outdated. Care to fill any of those gaps for us?"

Percy sighed. "I work at a summer camp, and I live at that summer camp part time. The time I am not at camp I am with my mother. We were having a nice time out when your friend came and ruined it."

It was my turn to feel guilty.

"Sorry about that by the way. It's just you're a h-" Percy cut him off.

"A hard person to pin down. Yeah I know. That's intentional. I just want to be left alone but that can never happen. Seems like you had no trouble finding me though."

"Maybe you're not as good at hiding as you think." Tony said.

"Or maybe it's hard to stay out of SHIELD's radar now that they have Stark as their leading benefactor."

"That is true. No hard feelings though right?"

"Right." Percy said flatly.

"Say I get you out of those handcuffs. Extend an olive branch or whatever," Percy winced at that comment. "will I regret it?"

"Nah. Though it would be easy to take you out. No fancy suit." Tony chuckled and Percy smiled. The handcuffs were unlocked and Tony gave the boy a pat on the shoulder before heading out. When he closed the door he turned to Fury.

"Nice kid." Was all he said.

Fury turned to me. I was up.

The inside of the room was cool. The wide glass panel that just reflected the contents made it feel smaller than it actually was. Intentionally designed to make people feel uncomfortable. Percy however, couldn't look more relaxed. He spread his legs in a leisurely manner, and reclined in the chair like a throne.

"Hi again." He said.

"You seem right at home." I didn't sit in the chair as Stark did, instead I rested against the edge halfway through the width of the table. To catch my eyes Percy had to look up at me.

"Interrogations won't scare me. I've been through worse."

"Really? Like what?"

He smiled, showing off his bright white teeth. "I'm not that easy Ms. Romanoff."

"Call me Natasha."

"Ok. Natasha." I let the sound of my name on his tongue resonate for a second.

"Son of Poseidon, right? Is that how you know Greek?"

"Yea. Do you know Greek?" I nodded.

"What else do you know?"

"That you don't look like a demi god. Thor's the standard around here."

Percy rolled his eyes. "Different gods, different standards. Though you'd think differently if you got to know me."

"That is why I'm here."

"No, you're interrogating me. No doubt so Fury can add what I say to my file. Shows how desperate he is for info he doesn't have."

"You were the one who proclaimed your godly heritage in the middle of the lounge."

"Only because you asked so nicely." He said this leaning forward.

"Is that all I have to do?"

"Fury was smart sending his prettiest agent to pick me up. I don't know if I would've came so willingly if it was Stark."

I laughed. "Stark lacks taste. I prefer subtly."

Percy leaned even closer. "Is that your code for flirting?"

"Who says I'm flirting with you?"

"You started over there, and now you're almost at the edge of my side." I looked down and realized he was right. I had shifted closer during our conversation. He stood up, and he had a few inches of an advantage over me.

"Maybe if you asked nicely I'd do anything for you." Again, I let his words hang in the air.

"Really?" I asked.

"Sure." He replied.

"Make sure you're nice to Banner." Was the last thing I said before sliding off the table and exiting the room. I felt his eyes on me as I walked out.

When I was on the other side of the glass was staring right at me. Like he could see through it.

Percy's P.O.V

Natasha left me breathless and standing like an idiot when the next guy, Banner, walked in. Curly brown hair, glasses with a soft aura. This must be Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a The Hulk.

"Hi Percy."

"Hi Dr. Banner."

He was taken back. "You know who I am."

"I used to know someone that was obsessed with your work." I forced myself not to think of her name.

"Ah. Well I hope they said only good things. May I sit?" I nodded and took my seat as well. I looked back at the glass, hoping Natasha was on the other side watching us. Make sure you're nice to Banner

I turned back to Banner. "So what do you want to know Doc?"
