Quicksilver vs Silver Gleam: Quickgleam

She flew into the opposite wall but quickly got up and ran. I ran after her. I was right behind her when the guards came. They started shooting but they missed. When I flew by them the force knocked them into the walls. We reached the entrance and she ran outside towards the river. We were running on water now. She was quick. She used the random rocks that jutted out from the water to her advantage. I had to weave my way through them. We reached land again and we passed by The Lincoln memorial and the Washington monument. She disapeared for a second but reemerged to my left and smashed into me. I tumbled sideways for a while because of my momentum but when I got back up she was gone. I looked all around but couldn't find her. A flash of light caught my attention as it ran up the Washington monument.

"Son of a bitch" I raced towards her. When I reached the base of the obelisk I took some steps back and ran up the surface. When I nearly reached the top she jumped. It was too late for me to form a proper trajectory angle to land safely so I flapped my arms like a bird really fast and safely floated down to the ground. I followed her all the way to Texas when I finally got her. I ran ahead of her and held out my foot and smirked. She tripped but landed in a pretty nice handstand. She faced me.

"Could you turn off the light?" I covered my eyes. Her suit was so bright. Why was her suit so bright!?

On cue her suit dimmed and I was face to face with her. She had dark skin with short spiky black hair. Her outfit was still pretty bright but I could make out a full body suit. Simple. I was about to tackle her but that son of a bitch ran off again. I chased after her and we were met with heavy traffic. We sped in between cars. She decided to have a litttle fun with me so she ran a little faster and twisted her body causing the force to blow cars to the side and straight at me. I slid underneath a flying car and time slowed down as I met eyes with the man in the front seat. I saw kids screaming in the backseat and a woman next to the man clutching on to him. Time picked up as I straightened out and looked at the car. It flipped in the air before crashing down and skidding to the dividers of the highway. I rushed to them and made sure they were all right. There was a huge boom behind me and I felt heat tickle my neck. I turned around and covered my face. There had been a huge explosion and fire was everywhere. She had gotten away, but left me to do the cleanup. I spun my arm in a circle fast, the wind from it caused the fire fade out and go away. I ran to each fallen car to get everybody out to safety. I made my way back to the base.
