The Bridge

Percy's P.O.V

On the ride to Von Strucker's base a lot of stuff happened. Well for starters Bruce stripped down to some baggy purple shorts and sat down and closed his eyes.

"What's he doing" Ryan asked me

"Meditating. Talking to the Hulk, telling him the game plan so that nothing goes out of control." It was Natasha who supplied an answer. She looked sexy in her skin tight black battle suit and heels. I got up and wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her.

"I missed you" I whispered

"Save it for tonight" She winked at me

"OK. So this new suit right" Tony said rather loudly. He stepped into a compartment and the door closed. I could hear machines whirring and doing their job. Then when it had only been 5 seconds Tony stepped out but in a dark blue Iron Man suit.

"Every new suit comes with stealth addition. And we want to get in unseen and do what we came to do before the alarms sound. Sooo..."

"Yeah, yeah I got it"

Steve was dressed in a similar version of his costume but no stripes and most of it was dark blue and his shield was painted blue and murky yellow. Thor had on his same armor but with no cape and the metal parts were dimmed. The black guy (Sam) had on his same outfit but had taken off his jet-pack (which apparently used to have wings) and traded them in for wings that attached to the sides of his arms that glowed red. I was equipped with a metallic arm that protected my sword arm and classic Greco-Roman armor. Ryan didn't get a costume so he was still stuck in the outfit we found him in, but he had taken off his tie and rolled up his sleeves and placed his nice black shoes nicely under the bench and put on some sneakers.

"Wheels down in five" The pilot said.

"No need" Tony said

"Here's the plan. We are going to drop down in front of the base. Tony you are going to scout and radio in if you see anything. Falcon go with him. Widow and Per-"

"Tide" I say

He smiled "Widow and Tide you're the ground force for getting in. Ryan go with them but be safe. I'll go with Thor to make sure it runs smoothly"

"How are you gonna do that?"

He smirked

Getting in wasn't hard. As soon as a guard saw us they were shot with Natasha's stingers which put them out for a couple hours. There was a cue to go inside and Tony activated the comm and told us that we were good. Natasha walked in first staying up against a wall. I took out Riptide. We heard voices and footsteps. Natasha knocked on the wall.

"Soundproof. Care to do the honors?" I walked forward

"Anyone know where the bathroom is?" I staggered around with my sword facing the floor. A guard raised his gun and I threw Riptide up and ran forward. Water surrounded me as I smashed into three guards. I jumped back and made a back-flip and landed on my feet. I held out my hand and riptide fell into it.

"Cool"

"Lets move" Natasha said from behind me.

We only encountered a couple more guards and we took them out easily. We reached a huge room with projectors and computers and screens. In the middle of the room a scepter rested against a handle. It had a gold shaft, a silver blade and a weird blue gem in the middle of the blade.

"Loki's scepter" She said. She stepped forward and reached out to touch it.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" A voice spoke

We looked around and a bald man with a monocle stepped out of the shadows. He had on a green suit and was smiling.

"Strucker I suppose"

"A whole team of heroes, just for me. I'm flattered" As he talked I saw in the corner of my eye reading the teleportation device to transport the Chitari weapons and the scepter. I kept him busy.

"Soooo nice place you got here. How much it cost? 5 thousand, hundred, million?"

"Lives"

"So you kill innocent people to get what you want"

"Oh no. The killing's the fun part. I just take control of the things that are needed. Like the mut-" He was cut off mid sentence because there was a beep and Natasha threw the teleporter by the scepter and a the device exploded causing a black hole type thing to appear and suck the weapons away. It closed as soon as everything was collected.

"No matter. The weapons were going to get scrapped and I used the scepter for what I wanted." He pulled out a handkerchief and wiped his monocle."A new age is coming. The Age of Miracles. And the TWINS and that brother of yours" he pointed to me "are a key factor"

"What does Ryan have to do with this?"

"Everything. He is the bridge between two worlds. Greeks and mutants."

I readied my sword "What did you just say?"

"That's my cue. Ms. Widow I believe you've been dying to meet them, so without further ado... THE TWINS!" He walked away. Two figures appeared out of the shadows. But I didn't have time to register their faces before a flash of silver and red approached us.
