A Queen Already

Chapter 12

                The Ball soon drew to a close and the boys began sweeping their mates off of their feet and began rushing to their rooms. I guess quite a few matings will happen tonight by the looks of some. I was currently in the arms of Oliver. We were slowly turning round in the last dance of the night. I currently had my head resting on his chest. The tingles rippled constantly through my body and his beautiful scent rapped around me, smothering me in love.

                The ball room was still fairly full even with the absence of quite a few people by now. The music slowly came to a stop. Oliver leaned his head to my neck and kissed lightly on my mark making me shudder in delight. I let out a content sigh.

                Come on sweet heart. It is getting late and it is a long day tomorrow.

                I want this to last forever. This moment right now.

                I heard him chuckle as he kissed my mark again. My knees were going weak at his touch. I felt his grip tighten slightly around my waist.

                I wish this moment would last forever too.

                He wrapped one hand around my waist and we began moving through the crowd who lowered their heads and let us freely pass through the crowd. This was something I was never going to get used too.

                Trust me. You will get used to it.

                Shoot. That’s another thing. He can hear every word I think. I began to blush turning my cheeks a bright red.

                That’s right Angel. I can hear every thought. Even the ones about me.

                I let out a slight gasp as my cheeks flushed a further shade of red. I heard him chuckle.

                Just remember Ollie. I can hear yours too.

                There was silence. I turned to look at him and saw the shocked look across his face. I couldn’t help the light giggle that trickled through my lips. It seemed to snap him out of his current state. A slight smirk covered his face which made him look so hot I was practically drooling. He stopped us from walking at this point and turned me to face him.

                He quickly hooked his arms around my waist pulling me to him so our bodies were pressed together. His face went to my ear then. I could feel his warm breath against my ear and the side of my neck which made me shudder.

                “You don’t want to tease me Angel. It might just get you in trouble,” He whispered.

                I shuddered as a small gasp left my mouth which made him chuckle. He then escorted me lightly around my waist. The rest of the crowd parted seemingly unaware of what just happened. I was struggling to keep my blush at bay. We excited this room it what is the main hall area with two stair cases one up to either side of the mansion. One to the left and one to the right. This room was quiet for only the King and Queen were in this room. They were talking happily away to each other.
