Also, we'll pretend that Mark wrote this song :P

Jackie was walking to her classes, humming absentmindedly, glad that it was Friday. She stops at her locker when she heard someone calling out her name. It was her friends Mary and Marzia. Jackie closes her locker and faces the two girls.
"Hey Jackie!" Mary greets, Marzia waving as well.
"Hey Mary, hey Marzia. What's up?" Jackie asks.
"Well, we were wondering if you were busy tonight, because if you're not then we'd like to invite you to join us," Marzia smiles.
"Unless you call having a date with video games all night being busy, then no," Jackie jokes, getting a few giggles from Marzia and a head shake from Mary.
"Well, why don't you come with me, Marzia, Mandy and Molly to Jazzy Java tonight?" Mary asks.
"Isn't that the musical cafe that where your boyfriends all perform?" Jackie asks, arching a thick eyebrow at the two girls.
"And Mark," Marzia giggles, wiggling her eyebrows at Jackie, causing the Irishwoman to blush.
"Besides, this is a girls night! You won't be the awkward ninth wheel!" Mary says.
"Fine, I'll go with you guys," Jackie chuckles. "What time am I being picked up at?"
"Around 5:30 by Molly. You'll be picked up right before me and then we'll be off," Marzia says. The bell rings signifying that they had five minutes before class starts. Mary parts way from Jackie and Marzia, since she had a different class. As Mary heads to her class, she meets up with her boyfriend Ken and tells him that Jackie was going to the cafe.

~ Later at the cafe ~

Mark was at Jazzy Java with his friends and bandmates Felix, Bob, Wade and Ken. They had a little bit before they were performing. The five guys were just chilling at a table enjoying coffee or tea while deciding on what they were going to perform.
"Oh guys, don't forget the ladies will be coming tonight," Felix says.
"Speaking of the ladies, Jackie is coming tonight," Ken says, almost making Mark spit out his coffee.
"J-Jackie's coming?" Mark asks, his eyes widening.
"Yup! Mary told me!" Ken says.
"Dude, you gotta sing that song you made!" Wade says.
"Yeah, we know you love her Mark. It's obvious you wrote that song about her," Bob smirks.
"Fine, alright I'll do it," Mark says. He and Jackie were good friends. Everyone but Mark and Jackie saw that they had feelings for each other. It was hilarious but also painful to watch. But soon enough, the five girls walk in as the five guys head to the stage. Marzia giggles and drags Jackie to a close table, the other three grinning as they sit close. Jackie's face was a light pink and she looks up at seeing Mark on stage as the show starts. She watches Mark, smiling, enjoying Mark's voice. It made her heart melt with how handsome it was. Jackie was glad that Marzia and the girls dragged her out of the house to come to Jazzy Java with them. Molly and Mandy stand up and start dancing, giggling as they did so. Mary and Marzia get in on the shenanigans but of course they pull Jackie up as well. Mark watches Jackie mostly as he sings. Soon enough it was time for the end; his original song. When he finishes the current song. He pauses before speaking.
"Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great time. So to end the show, I'll be singing an original song. It's called Rhythm of Love and I wrote it about a girl I really like. Her name is Jackie," Mark says with a smile, a blush forming on his face. His eyes meet Jackie's, whose face was burning a bright red.

"My head is stuck in the clouds
She begs me to come down
Says, "Boy, quit foolin' around"
I told her, "I love the view from up here
Warm sun and wind in my ear
We'll watch the world from above
As it turns to the rhythm of love."" Mark sings, getting off the stage and walking towards Jackie. Jackie stayed where she was, glaring playfully at the girls. She turns to Mark with a smile.

" We may only have tonight
But till the morning sun, you're mine
All mine
Play the music low
And sway to the rhythm of love" Mark holds his hand out to Jackie who takes it. The two teenagers dance to the music. Jackie was looking down, her face now pink.

" My heart beats like a drum
A guitar string to the strum
A beautiful song to be sung
She's got blue eyes deep like the sea
That roll back when she's laughing at me
She rises up like the tide
The moment her lips meet mine" Jackie looks up when Mark moves her face up. She couldn't help but laugh a bit as they danced. Mark stayed dancing with Jackie for the entirety of the song. Afterwards, Jackie lets go and claps like the rest of the crowd. She smiles at Mark but gasps when Mark gets on one knee.
"I know this is no marriage proposal, but Jackie, will you be my girlfriend?" Mark asks with a goofy grin. Jackie couldn't help but laugh.
"Of course you doof!" Jackie answers with a grin. She pulls Mark up into a happy kiss. Mark puts his arms around her waist, kissing back. The duo didn't care about all the whistling, cheering and awwwwees they got. They were just happy. They pull back and smile, knowing that this was going to be a wonderful relationship.
