I finally got to see my mom. She never looked so pale. I can't believe this is happening. She was Laying in her bed peacefully.
"Mom oh my gosh how are you feeling?" I asked her after I ran in and hugged her.
"Not the best but it'll be ok." She said so weak and fragile. "Where's your husband and my grandkids? Bring them I don't think I've seen Ben yet."
I brought them all in the room for her to see. The first I let her see was Ben. She held him in her hands so gently.
"On Audrey he's beautiful. He looks just like his daddy." Shes said with tears in her eyes.
She never looked so happy. It was amazing to see her smile. You never know when it would be her last.
I ended up staying with her while Colby and the kids slept in my room.
We had our talks about what had happened in the last few days.
I still can't believe she'll be gone so soon.
Maybe sooner than I thought...
