I had gotten off of school on Tuesday. King wasn't back and its been 5 days. I really do miss him. But I'm getting used to him not being here.

I'm going back to how I used to live. Lonely and freely.

I wore my skin hugging tshirt and boyshort panties as I was making me 2 nice home made philly cheese steak sandwiches. I had my shows ready on dvr. And my cheese cake in the fridge chilling. I was ready and I was loving this me time. I had my music playing 'Versace' by migos and drake. Adding my own little remix.

"Versace versace I'm cooking this steak the recipe from my mommy! This is a special sandwich don't fucking ask for a bite from me! Versace versace I forgot the pepper sprink sprinkle on top of me!" I sprinkled the pepper. And bobbed my head to the beat.

"Versace. Versace Versace Ver-"

"Hey."

I jumped out of my skin and nearly had a heart attack as I jumped around. I held my chest to see it was just King. He was laughing.

My face went stale as I turned back around to my sandwich.

"It's like that?" He said.

I just ignored him pretending he wasn't there. Even though my heart was telling me to run over there and hug him telling him how much I missed him my brain made me stay my ground.

"Look Millz I'm sorry okay." He said.

"I hear you." I said dryly. He got to the side of me putting a pack of oreos in my face. I couldn't help but smile as I snatched the cookies as I reached up and put them in the back of my junk cabinet.

*Kings pov*

I smiled as I watched her put the oreos. She wore panties and it turned me on. She had a nice fat ass that was firm. And was actually real. Everyone knows Ebonys ass boobs and nose wasn't real. Her dad paid for her plastic surgery. He was some rich nigga in malibu.

But back to Milan. I actually missed her in a wierd way.

Her goofy ass. I come to find her rapping in her underwear and spongebob slippers cooking steak. I loved her goofyness though.

She looked at me as she hopped up and sat on the counter.

"So how was your 'break'" she put quotes around it. I laughed.

"It was fun."

"Where'd you go? If you mind me asking."

"My sister's house."

"Wow you went to Philli."

"Yup I missed em. Took them out to places everyday and we just caught up."

"That's nice. So did you clear your mind?" She asked. I sighed

"Not really I just thought about a lot."

She nodded. "You hungry?"

"Hell yeah." I said. She had this whole house smelling good.

She laughed and smiled at me. "Okay it'll be ready soon. Your ass messed up my little me time by the way."

I laughed. "My bad. I'ma go shower and unpack." I said she nodded then I left.

I expected her to be madder at me. But being mad wasn't in her nature. I was glad she wasn't mad though. I can talk to her and try and build our friend ship back up.

*Milans pov*

I sighed. If I can't win his heart trying to be his girlfriend. I'll win his heart by being his friend.

Yes I was beyond pissed. But what's in the past is in the past. And bringing it up would probably make him mad.

I'm trying to work on this independent thing. All that with trying to have my little crush. I think this can work.

I went upstairs and put on some pants. I mean I wanted to wear my panties and since King already knows what's under there it wouldn't have mattered. But he's not about to do something and lead me on again.

He came down and I gave him his plate and went to sit in the living room.

"So what's up with you and Ebony?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Nothing I'm getting a break from her. This is really good." He said I smiled.

"Thanks." I said. He took a big bite and started talking.

"I talked to my sister Gia about it and the break was the best thing." He said I nodded then started talking with my mouth full.

"She stopped by here looking for you."

"Really?" I nodded. And licked my fingers. He laughed. I gave him that what look. "I have to remember the difference when I'm eating with ebony and eating with you." He said.

I laughed "Oh really?"

"Yeah you eat like a pig and well... like me. Ebony be picking at her food and shit. And she gets so mad when I talk with my mouth full."

I laughed. "That's yo girl."

"I ain't gone lie. I miss her but for now I'm single."

"What do your sisters think of her."

"They hate her."

"I don't blame them."

He laughed. "I love her though. Oh yeah. My sister Kinani remember I told you about her?"

"One my age?"

"Yeah. She has a model agency not far from here. Interviewing her and I was wondering if she could stay here until they sort things out on where she's going."

"Yeah of course, we can make room. As long as she doesn't act anything like Ebony I'm fine."

"Haha no. In fact you two have a lot in common. I know you'll like her, she already likes you."

I smiled. Its good to know his sisters already like me. One of the fastest way into a mans heart is if the most important women in his life love you. For example his mother. In this case his four sisters.

"Dinner was good as hell girl." He said taking my plate and going in the kitchen.

I smiled having a little daydream about him. Us married and me in the kitchen cooking for him and our kids every night.

"You know this means you're doing the dishes right?" I said with a smile.

He laughed "I figured that."

"Hey I got a cheese cake in the fridge." I said.

"Forreal? .... Yo! You gotta let me get some!!"

I laughed "Okay." He ran in the living like a little kid. He jumped and plopped on the couch. He handed me a fork then opened the case and dug in. I couldn't help but laugh as I dug my fork in and we finished it off.

*Kings pov*

See this is what I like. This is how I want it to be with us 24/7.

Us playing around, keeping eachother good company, laughing, no feelings, having a good time, getting along, and just being friends.

I love this.
