9. happy memories

You gave up.

After all those hours- mostly all morning, looking for Sasuke, you finally gave up. I should've asked Naruto for his number even though it would've been so embarrassing. You thought to yourself and sighed through your nostrils, but when you took a notice of a familiar delicious smell, your mood had brightened up.

"Sweets!" You squealed and made your way towards the sweet store that you worked in part-time job on week days but before you could go in, a cold hand had grabbed your wrist.

"I finally found you."

Why? Everytime I forget about you..you always find a way into get inside my mind again, by showing up.

"Huh?" You turned your head to look at the person who had taken a hold of your wrist, and it was the person you were looking for all morning, Sasuke. "You were looking..for me?" You asked wanting to make things clear.

"Can't you hear? Yes, I was looking for you."

You scoffed before pulling your wrist out from his grip. "Good! Because I was looking for you too." You said and shoved your hands in your sweater pockets.

"You were looking for me?"

"Can't you hear? Yes, I was looking for you!" You teased as you repeated what he had said a few minutes ago while mocking his voice in the process.

"...I don't sound like that, idiot."

"Whatever! But I did wanted to talk to you! C'mon, lets go buy some snacks, I'm hungry."

"Don't you want sweets?" He asked and began to walk next to your side like he would always do when both of you were together, of course.

"Nah, I want you to enjoy the snacks too."

T I M E S K I P

After you had gotten your snacks with Sasuke, both of you decided to go to a small field that was full of trees. It was a perfect place to come for relaxation, and when both of you finally found the perfect tree to sit down under, you were both satisfied with it.

"So..what did you wanted to talk about?" Sasuke asked as he got rid of the comfortable silence both of you were sharing a few seconds ago.

"You signed up for being a class representative, didn't you?" You asked looking straight at him from the corner of your eyes while taking a bite from the cookies you had bought, and girl, you obviously had a thing with cookies.

"...Who told you?! Was it that stupid knucklehead-"

"No, I found out myself."

"Oh..what is it like?" He asked wanting to change the subject.

"We do a load of activities out of school." You informed and offered him some cookies, and he accepted your offer. "Like for example..Me and Sai were going to go to this academy tomorrow to help kids, I guess."

"Were? Was it cancelled?"

"Yeah, since the teacher found out about the students that wanted to join me and Sai, she cancelled it and rescheduled it next weekend for all of us to come."

"Oh really?"

"Yup! So I'll be seeing you next weekend, you better be ready and get your shit together! There's going to be a whole load of kids!"

"Thanks."

You hummed in response, and once again, it went silent, but then something had caught your attention; Sasuke was scooting closer to you. "What are you doing Sasu-" You asked but he had interrupted you when he placed the back of his head on your lap.

"I'm tired." He admitted while looking up at you. "Just enjoy this and relax.."

A small blush had made its way to your cheeks but you immediately got rid of it and sighed. "You're lucky I'm tired too, If I weren't, I would've kicked you where you don't want to be kicked."

"Just relax, idiot.." He whispered and closed his eyes peacefully, it seemed like he was enjoying this. You had to admit, you were enjoying this too and without thinking, you started to play with his raven locks.

Sasuke's lips slightly curved up into a smile while feeling your warm hands touch his dark raven tresses. He couldn't help it, he was very much enjoying this and it lead his smile to grow wider.

"You're smiling." You pointed out before pulling your hands back from his hair, much to his disappointment.

"Shut up."

You couldn't help but smile too, and so, you leaned forward. "Sasuke.."

"Hm?"

"Lets have more moments like these."

He opened his eyes and made eye contact with your (e/c) orbs.

"Okay, (f/n)."
