55. Solitude

READER's P.O.V

It's been weeks since I've seen Sasuke and honestly, I was having a great time. I wouldn't have to hear his screaming, his complains nor get slapped in the face! How great was that? It was all peaceful and simply amazing. I couldn't even believe I was saying this because not too long ago, I actually wanted to see him.

But no, I'm a strong and independent woman-

"Can you stop crying over Sasuke, (Y/n)? It's been weeks!" Naruto reminded while shoving a pancake into his mouth, eyeing me across the small table we always shared when one of us made dinner. Well, ever since that slap, Naruto refused to leave my side and Sakura promised to do my duties as nurse so I wouldn't get in trouble.

Basically, I haven't even gone to work, it was rare but I should really stop slacking off before I get fired. I looked at Naruto and shook my head side to side, ignoring him once again.

"Do you even know exactly why you're crying?" Naruto asked while I pushed my plate away and placed the side of my head against the table.

"No?" I murmured unsure and then I heard Naruto scooting closer before he rested his head against the table to make eye contact with me, now that was too close. "Hey, Naruto, what're you doing-"

"You love Sasuke, don't you?" He asked as he raised a hand and placed it on top of my head, looking at me with those big blue orbs of his. "After all he's done, you still love him, don't you? Because you love him that much."

"No, Naruto- Im pretty sure that.."

"I can see it." The blonde interrupted me as a small blush made its way to my cheeks before he pulled away, leaving my side. He took the plates in hand and walked into the kitchen, starting to wash the dishes like any other day.

That Naruto.. and I thought he was dumb. I thought to myself and I was about to go and help my blonde friend until I heard a few and gentle knocks coming from the door. "I'll get it!" I yelled out to Naruto while making my way to the door, opening it with a forced smile plastered on my lips.

"Helloー!"

Before I could even greet the person, a hand covered my mouth and pulled me outside the house, the person making sure to close the door behind him in a gentle manner. "If you scream, I'll rape you here and now." He whispered in my ear and I couldn't help but to panic even more, but this surely does remind me of something or someone.

"Ugh, you know what, I'm leaving." She snapped and stood up from her seat since she was tired of his shitty attitude. "You're waisting my tim-"

"Sit down." The onyx eyed male demanded as if he owned her, what a jerk.

"No."

"Do it."

"No."

"Say no one more time and I'll rape you."

Could it be? Sasuke.. My instincts quickly kicked in and I used the back of my head to hit his chin, certainly hurting me but making sure it hurt him even more. He winced but didn't even let go, what the hell did he even want from me?
