38. surprise (y/n)

FIRST PERSON P.O.V

Tch. Sasuke better do what I told him to do. I thought to myself and sighed. Dang, why did I decided to do this? Why would I go walking to Naruto's house in this damn weather? It was so freaking cold! It was beautiful though, a world full of white snow. It was one of my favorite seasons.

But then..It had some disadvantages.

"So COLD!" I muttered under my breath and bit my bottom lip gently. "I should've waited for Gaara to come back.." I shivered as I felt the cold breeze get stronger each time I took a step forward. "Gosh, why is it so far away?"

"(Y/n), it isn't even that far. It's just a few blocks away from your house, you're over reacting."

"Huh-"

"Now, are you going to tell me what is your reason for coming here 'ttebayo?" Naruto's voice immediately interrupted me from talking, the only thing I could do was stare at the blonde in front of me. I haven't seen him in weeks, and yet he had changed so much- but wait.

I gasped and put my hands up to my mouth, "You..you got a haircut?!" I exclaimed and pointed a finger at his blonde locks, he looked much more mature than before. He looked so different..and his voice, it wasn't the same as before either.

"Mhm..yeah."

"Why..?"

Naruto chuckled and looked straight at my (e/c) orbs. "Wow.. You seem so terrified. Do I really look bad 'ttebayo?" He asked and didn't look away from me since he was expecting an honest answer. The blonde seemed to be taking a look at my facial features, and my body figure.

"U-Uh..no?" I hesitated.

"You hesitated, (y/n)."

I averted my eyes to the side, only to make eye contact with his blue orbs again. Then his eyes slowly went down my body figure, and stopped at a certain spot. I followed his gaze and ended up looking at my own breasts.

That's when I noticed.

I gasped and crossed my arms over my chest, "What the heck?! Pervert! Stop looking!" I cried out and punched him right in the nose before I even had the time to think about my actions. Why was he staring? He isn't like this at all!

"That hurt.. (Y/n)." Naruto spoked out and looked down at me once again. He held his nose between his index and thumb fingers. That's when I realized drops of his blood turning what used to be white snow to a red color. "I don't blame you..It was my fault 'ttebayo."

"Ah..hey, I'm sorry-" Then a certain hotheaded mother had cut me off with her cheerful voice. She seemed real happy to see me after what I've done to his son.

"(Y/n)?! Oh dear, It's really you! It's nice to see you again 'ttebane!" A red-headed habanero greeted as she walked down the porch and quickly made her way to where Naruto and I were. She seemed to have the happiest grin today, she was a truly beautiful mother indeed.

"Mom..not now." Naruto sighed and rolled his eyes, by doing this the only thing he received was a hit on the head. Great, a nosebleed and a hit on the head. Just great. Real great. Very great.

"You see (Y/n), you and Naruto haven't seen each other for weeks! He has been feeling lonely 'ttebane. He hasn't even been himself lately either." Kushina began to explain and looked at her son in front of him. "He even got a haircut 'ttebane!"

"He doesn't look that bad."

"I don't like his new haircut." Kushina whispered but made sure Naruto heard loud and clear. His right eyebrow twitched and from the corner my eyes I could see his fists slightly clench in anger. "..but he won't listen to me 'ttebane."

"I-Uh..ahaha." I chuckled nervously and shoved my hands in my pockets. "Actually..I came to invite him to a small hang-out, you know? I just wanted to see if he wanted to come..Everybody is going to be there, Naruto!" I informed but he didn't even seem interested.

"Really? That's great 'ttebayo."

"Naruto!" Kushina scolded and a small frown made its way to her face. "Stop acting like that and accept (y/n)'s offer for once. I've seen how daily she's been asking you to hang-outs like this but all I hear from you is no. She isn't the only one, Sakura too! Also that shy girl 'ttebane!"

"Mom I simply don't care-"

"Naruto." Minato's voice interrupted the blonde and he came walking to support Kushina. I started to fidget with my fingers just like Hinata did, hopefully this doesn't become a habit. "Is that right right way to talk to your mother?" He strictly said.

"No 'ttebayo."

"Kushina and I didn't raise you this way either. Also, clean the blood that is dripping from your nose." His father looked at Naruto with a serious expression.

Naruto looked at me and I couldn't help but blush from embarrassment, I quickly took out a handkerchief and handed it to him. "S-Sorry..Naruto." I apologized and bowed my head forward in his direction.

"What do you say, Naruto 'ttebane?" Kushina asked and tilted her head to the side as she waited for his son's answer.

The blonde sighed for the last time and bowed his head towards me. "Gomen, (y/n). I'll come to this hang-out you were talking about 'ttebayo." He apologized and perked his head up.

My eyes were full of joy and I squealed. "Ahh! Naruto!" I exclaimed and threw myself at him. I put my arms around his neck and held onto him tightly. "Do you know how much I've missed you, idiot?!" I said and didn't let go of him.

Naruto took a few steps back since he was surprised by the sudden actions I had made. He slowly put his arms around my waist but I could tell he was being a bit hesitant, but in the end he ended up hugging me with the same strength I used to hug him.

Then Naruto said something that had taken me aback since I wasn't expecting that at all.

"I love you, (y/n)."
