So how did the two of you meet?
C:
At an art exhibit.
they were featuring a painting and i guess it was kind of like a party. Lots of people came to see it. I went over to the snack bar cuz im not one for crowds. Then some guy asked me if i wasnt interested in the painting.
::shrugs::
And that guy happened to b james.

And it was 'love at first sight'?
C:
::chuckles::
No. I dont believe that stuff.
we just clicked was all. How neither of us like weather talk. He didnt mind me having strong opinions or seeing things differently. He seemed to find most people boring and i could tell he was brilliant. And he reminds me of my oldest brother.
*could tell he was too brilliant for his own good.

Funny how I manage to get on with them anyways.

He's never said right out, but I've done my research.

...he's what some people would call a criminal consultant.
I don't like it at all but he won't listen to me.
Apparently nothing else keeps him oc
cupied enough.

He isn't the only person to turn to crime for their brilliance.

I'm sure not but that doesn't mean I approve
...and I worry about him
C:
Your his mother. You have every reason to worry. And I'm not saying I approve, either. But if there were more people on his level of thinking he wouldnt be as susceptible to keep choosing his way of life.

You've been with him lately. Is he in much trouble?
C:
::glances back in direction of jim, wherever he may be::
Mycroft has been hounding on him, and me ever since I started dating him. But mycroft has been over-stepping the law and I got him legally in trouble for it.
...he got sick and couldnt make some of his appointments and one of his contacts were furious. Thankfully i was there to calm them down.

But he almost broke his word so he wouldnt have to go off to London

And what is it you love about him?
C:
He keeps his word.
He might not tell me everything and keep me in the dark sometimes, but he tells the truth and always keeps his word.

I've been working on figuring out his thought process so I can better teach him to connect with people again. He's allowed his intelligence to isolate him for so long he had forgotten how to build basic relationships. And in the process, he's been teaching me how to think more on his level and other various little things.

Like coding or its never to late to fall in love with traveling. He's trying to get me to not have stage fright

I mean, it might have been had he not sent me a coded invitation to lunch.

My brother, Xander, was a genious. I hung out with him a lot and wanted to be just like him. He played with my head and would talk to me about all sorts of random smart stuff and tell me scifi stories, phenomonal with computers... but he allowed his intelligence to isolate him, as well. He didnt- doesnt know how to connect with people. So I've just had practice.
