C:
::first thing in the morn::
Hey, Maria?
Know how I was talking to u about my boyfriend the other day?
M:
Yeah?
C:
....do u mind squeezing him in for the next few days? I mean, if it means over time, i'll buy ur lunches to help make up for it.
M:
Um... sure I can fit him in
C:
Oh, great. Thanks, Maria. When do u think u cn see him at the earliest?
#she should ask why she thinks she should see jim so soon/urgently#
M:
Why so urgent?
C:
...because we have reasons to believe he is going to have charges pressed against him and I cant be the person to document how his intelligence is also a handicap. Im too involved in his personal life, uk?
M:
His intelligence as a handicap?
C:
Yeah.
its kinda like....aspergers. only he's so high functioning that u can't tell usually until u realize that it inhibits his connection with fellow humans and his comprehension of important basic abstract concepts.
M:
::nods::
Ok
Well I'll see about it
C:
Thanks.
Let me know as soon as u can when he can come in.
M:
Actually I have an opening this afternoon if...
C:
::nods::
I'll let him know.
thank u so much, Maria.
M:
You're welcome
C:
::goes to her room and txts James::
[Come to the office aft lunch]
J:
[Ok]
::will come after lunch::
C:
::it feels wierd knowing he's there and yet she's not actually seeing him::
::conts wrking with her own clients and hopes that Marie will come in to tell her how it went::
#unless he drops in just to say hi XD#
#and if u want u cn do a ssession#
#unless u want me doing Maria#
::when James comes in::
Nancy:
Hi, may I help u?
J:
Um im here to see maria
N:
Ok, I'll let her know your here.
::hands him a clip board::
Would u mind filling these out? It'll only take a few minutes.
## I hate those lol
J:
Uh sure
Nancy:
::goes to see Maria::
Dr. Chavez?
Your new client is here.

Maria:
thank u, i'll b there in a moment
::needing to finish up some paperwork::

Nancy:
::goes back::
She'll be with you in a little while
::pleasant demeanour::
J:
Thanks
::semi pleasant::
::focused on finishing the paper quickly and getting this whole thing thru quickly::
Maria:
::finished::
::goes to the waiting room::

Nancy:
Dr Chavez is ready to see u now
J:
Thanks
::gets up to go meet her::
M:
Hello
::proffessional smile::
::hand out to shake: :
I'm Dr. Chavez. You may call me Maria, if u like
J:
Hi, Maria. You can call me Jim.
::smiles::
M:
::leads him to her office::
::motions for him to sit::
So what brings u to my office?
J:
Cameron seems to think I need to come here
## ::shrug:: I dont know ##
C:
You dont agree?
J:
I don't know
M:
::slightly confused::
::tries new tactic::
Did Cameron say why she thought u should come?
J:
She says I dont get things like relationships and the value of life or something.
M:
Why do u think she says that?
J:
Cause everything's black and white. Statistics. Facts. Cause, effect.
M:
Is that what you believe?
J:
Yeah, at least I did.
Now she's been trying to explain it the way its 'supposed' to be and so its a mess
M:
::now she is starting to see what she is saying::
How did she explain the way it's 'supposed' to be?
J:
::sighs::
First she said people are like gold they have value and different attributes. Life and death aren't just things that happen. People aren't b
lades of grass. I don't know.
M:
::she recalls what C had said, that he viewed ppl as boring as grass::
Why do u think she chose those analogies?
J:
I don't know
The only thing she said that made half sense was how I feel about her
M:
What did she say about that?
J:
::more hesitant::
That she matters to me
She's not just another meaningless life
I... care what happens to her
M:
Do u agree with that?
J:
...yeah
M:
How do u usually see people as, Cameron aside?
J:
::shrugs::
Just boring... mostly meaningless things. I deal with anyone if they can offer something interesting.
M:
::interesting....::
In general, about how many people do u find interesting in some way?
J:
In general?
...
::shrugs::
A handful I guess
M:
::nods::
You said u think most people are boring.
Why do u feel that way?
J:
They just are
There's nothing for them to offer
You can see their whole life at a glance and that's it, nothing.
M:
You said Cameron used grass to help explain?
