...he used to see everyone like u see grass. Generic, boring. When I made him realize his family and I are more than statistics to him, I assume he got confused. He realized everyone is different and could mean something to him or someone else.

Imagine finding out that being a detective was morally wrong. Or that all your supposedly solved cases incriminated completely innocent people and it was all u've done ur whole life.

....he's been in trouble with the law before and he did something illegal on my account. I got onto him about it. After we both cooled down, I started reasoning with him cuz he's one of those people that are so bright that they dont understand simple things. Like how people arent just numbers that are boring. And I made too much sense to him.
...he came to my door at 2 this morning drunk and miserable and when he left I sent someone to make sure he got home ok. They had to fight him until he was too tired and he was feeling horribly guilty...
