Chapter Twenty-Seven

Lauren's POV

Y/N and Y/BF/N are about to leave. Y/BF/N has to catch a flight to go back home. Y/N and I are at the doorway.

"Thanks for having us over." Y/N smiled. Her smile is the best.

"No problem, we have fun with you guys." She pulled me into a hug.

"Alright love birds, I have to go pack and catch a flight. So let's go Y/N." Y/BF/N demanded. Y/N rolled her eyes. She kissed my forehead, and let go of me.

"See you tomorrow." She waved.

"Bye." I watched her drive off.

"Not even a peck on the lips." Dinah laughed.

"Shut up. I think it's sweet, she doesn't want to rush anything."

"You two kissed already so what's the big deal?" Normani questioned.

"She's never been with anyone. So maybe she doesn't know what to do."

"Oh please." Dinah waved off. I rolled my eyes.

"Ok maybe she does, but she wants to take things slow. I don't have a problem with that either."

Two Hours Later

Incoming Call From: Y/LN 💕💕💕

"Hi Y/N."

"Hi." I smiled just from hearing her voice.

"What's up?"

"I miss you." Oh my she is just the cutest.

"I miss you too."

"I really miss you." I giggled.

"I really miss you too."

"Can I come see you?"

"It's like... two in the morning."

"So. I really, really really miss yoooou." I laughed at her antics.

"Sure." I didn't hear anything back.

"Hello, Y/N? Dork." I hung up and went down stairs to wait for her. I heard a knock. I opened the door and was engulfed into a hug.

"Hey." I whispered. She wasn't saying anything.

"Y/N what's wrong?"

"Nothing." She picked me up and carried me to my room.

"You are worrying me." She cuddled in bed with me.

"I missed you." She smiled. My heart melted. She kissed my forehead. She placed her hand on the side of my face and stroked my cheek with her thumb.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Am I not allowed to look at you?" She quirked.

"No, you just looked dazed."

"Because I am. I have a beautiful girl in front of me." She grinned.

"Well I have a gorgeous girl in front of me." She shook her head.

"No, you're more gorgeous." She stated.

"Nooooo."

"Yesssss." She smiled.

"Do you think I'm pretty?" She asked.

"You're more than pretty, you're art."

"I don't really like myself. I never have, but I want to tell you before we maybe make it official that I have many problems. Stuff that I wouldn't want to put you into the middle of." She stated.

"Why don't you like yourself?"

"I don't know. I was always made fun of when I grew up, so I guess since everyone thought I was ugly, I thought I was ugly too." She sniffled.

"You're far from ugly. Don't listen to them. They are just jealous because they want to be you."

"Thanks, I've never had someone say great things about me other than Y/BF/N."

"What about your parents? I'm sure they're proud of you for being out here in California going to school for photography." She buried her face into the pillow.

"Y/N?" She lifted her head and had tears going down her face.

"Can we talk about something else?" She asked. I nodded my head and wiped her tears away. She laid her head on my chest and I played with her hair. It was quiet, but it was a good quiet. I looked at her to see she has fallen asleep. I kiss her forehead and shut my bedside lamp off.

"Goodnight Y/N."
