Chapter 18: Damaged Relationships

Date: November 11th, 2015

[after school]

Justin's POV

The Dismissal bell rung and everyone flooded the hallways. I looked around for Maidel. Once I spotted her, I pulled her aside.

Me: "Hey, can we talk?"

Maidel: "Uh, sure..."

Me: "Can we go to the park?"

Maidel: "I guess, let me just go grab
my book bag and I'll meet you at
the exit door."

Me: "ok"

I went to my locker and grabbed my bag. I didn't see Jayden at her locker. She probably already left. I closed my locker and stormed out. I saw Maidel waiting at the exit.

Me: "Come on"

She followed me to the car. The ride to the park was silent. We got there and sat at an empty picnic table.

Me: "What's going on between you
and me?"

Maidel: "Wym?"

Me: "Be straight forward with me.
Are you cheating on me?
With Abraham?"

Maidel was silent.

Me: "Are you?!?!" I said,
raising my voice.

Maidel: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean T-"

Me: *I cut her off* "i knew it.."

Maidel: "But I-"

Me: "What the hell did I ever do
to you?!?!"

Maidel: "Nothing! It's jus-"

Me: "You know what, FORGET IT!
We're done. You had your fun, I hope everything works out with you
and him"

I stormed off as she yelled "Justin WAIT!"

I got in my car and drove away.

Jayden's POV

[dismissal] I grabbed my book bag and made myself into the music room. Mrs. Clef gave me a copy of the key. I walked in and locked the door behind me. I waited till the last of the people had walked out. I worked on some song mashups for a good  hour and a half. I walked home and found my mom in the kitchen, making lunch. We ate and then I went up to my room.
