Chapter 24: Shedding Tears

Jayden's POV

Our lips were close now, almost touching.... I closed my eyes and......

I looked down at the bed.

Me: "It's getting kind of late."
I smiled, looking into his eyes.

I twiddled my fingers. He was left with an undelivered kiss on his lips.

Justin: "yeah.." He said
looking me in my eyes as
he smiled and giggled.

Justin: "I should get going, before
Camilla gets here and begins
to assume things."
He bit his lip and smirked.

Me: "yeah..."

I walked him to the door. I closed the door and leaned against it, biting my lip. Why am I so stupid?!? I should've kissed him... Oh well, too late now.

*Time skip: 2 weeks later*
(Justin and Jayden are back in school... It's 8th period)

Justin's POV

I was sitting at my desk in English, day dreaming as usual. It's been two weeks since that trip to NY, but I still can't get that night out of my mind. I stared at Jayden almost all period. Why the hell didn't I just go for it?!? That was my chance. Ugh....

*dismissal bell rings*

Jayden walks over to me. She smiles.

Jayden: "Hey, what's up with you?"

Me: "Wym?"

Jayden: "Well, it was clear
that you were daydreaming during
class. Is it about a girl? *gasp*
are you crushing?!?" She
said giggling.

Me: "Nah, I'm just a little tired"
I smiled at her.

Jayden: "mmmm.... Okkaaaayyy...
If you say so" she said walking
out and to her locker.

If only she knew. If only she knew, that her voice, her laugh, her kindness, her eyes, her hair, her personality, everything about her.... Drove my crazy inside, yet was the only thing keeping me sane.

I saw Devon approach her, and they disappeared. I wasn't going To let him take her from me. I secretly followed them. I had to act normal so no one around would suspect. I walked around the halls every few minutes. They were in the music room, messing around.... As usual. I roamed the halls one more time and passed by a vending machine to get an Arizona. Didn't think much could happen in just a few minutes. I was wrong....

Jayden's POV

Devon and I were sitting on the table. We were fooling around, flinging Cheetos at each other.

Devon: "It's been a great Month
and a half spent with you jay."

Me: "Aw, thanks, I can say
the same towards you"
I say smiling

Devon: "I love the friendship
we've built. It's filled with childish behavior, music, laughter,
and most of all, Trust.
So I don't want to keep
anything from you. "
