Third Person POV

Levi Ackerman used to have a very happy life. He had a beautiful wife named (f/n) and a son named (son's name). (Son's name) was only a few months old when it happened.

What happened?

You might be asking. Why don't I tell you...

Flashback

It was thought of as a "perfect" day. But that didn't last long. A few days before it happened, Levi was dropping (f/n) off at the airport. She was going to visit her younger brother, Eren, for a few days.

"Bye (son's name)!" She hugged him, kissing his cheek. (F/n) handed him back over to Levi and he set him in his car seat in the back of his car.

(F/n) wrapped Levi in a tight embrace, not wanting to let go but she knew she would have to eventually.

Before they let go of each other, Levi pressed his lips against her's. When they parted she looked at the time, noticing that she needed to go now.

"Bye Levi, I love you." She smiled, grabbing her purse and suitcase. "I love you too. Call me when you land."

"I will." She replied.

Levi watched her go inside, she turned around and waved one last time and he waved as well.

After she went through the doors, Levi got back in his car. Turning around in his seat to check on (son's name), since he heard him start to cry.

"Shh, it's okay buddy. Mommy will be back in two days." Levi hushed his son, reaching his arm back as (son's name) grabbed on to it.

This was (f/n)'s first time leaving Levi alone with (son's name), and like every other mother, she was a bit nervous.

But she knew he would handle, somehow.

(Son's name) calmed down a little so Levi started his car and drove back to their house.

When he pulled up in the driveway, Levi saw a perfume bottle in the passenger seat. "Tch. (F/n) forgot her perfume." He mumbled, picking it up and getting out to grab (son's name).

Time Skip

About three and a half hours had passed and Levi heard his phone go off. Getting up off the floor from playing with (son's name), he went over to the kitchen counter and grabbed his phone.

Looking at the caller ID, it was (f/n). A smile reached his lips as he pressed the "answer" button.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Levi! I just wanted to let you know that I'm here in Shiganshina now. Eren's about to pick me up so we can go to lunch."

"Alright, tell Eren I say hi."

"I will. Oh, how's (son's name)?"

"He's fine. He was a little upset on the way home since you weren't there. We were just playing in the living room, a minute ago." Levi looked back and smiled when he saw (son's name) hugging a stuffed horse puppet named Jean.
