"he said casual fancy, not too fancy but not too casual. what does that even mean?"

"you and your zero sense of fashion. i know exactly what you're going to wear," bree said, searching through vienna's closet. "since it's summer, we'll go with a nice summer dress. what about this one?" she brought out a simple skater dress which was one of vienna's favourites so she gave bree a nod. "great, and we'll go with these shoes, what do you think?" bree held up a pair of white, low-top converse. she nodded again.

"thanks bree, hang on whilst i change." vienna grabbed the dress and a tanned bra, walked into the bathroom and changed. she put the clothes she was wearing in the wash.

"what about my hair?" she asked standing in the doorframe of her bedroom.

"why don't you just sit down and let me do my thing?" bree offered.

"mm, alright. only because i trust you!"

"right you sit there and i'll sit here and watch the magic happen." jace said, sitting on the bed smiling.

"shut up you. get your ass up here, you're perfectly capable of straightening hair." bree ordered.

jay stood up with a sigh and saluted, "yes ma'am."

vienna rolled my eyes at the two, "just get on with it already, i haven't got all day."

"sit. stay still. shut up. close your eyes, i don't like being watched." bree insisted.

"alright alright, chill your beans." vienna said as she closed her eyes.

within twenty minutes or so, vienna's caramel hair was straightened, thanks to jace, and it was nicely in a half up half down hairstyle so it wouldn't be in her face.

bree then studied vienna's face, noticing how her skin was fairly clear, how she already had a natural flush to her face and how her face was practically sculpted already. she decided to go simple with the makeup since vienna didn't really need it. using a brow pencil, bree filled in any sparse areas in vienna's eyebrows, sticking to the whole natural appeal. brushing a bit of powder onto her face to keep the oils at bay and coating vienna's eyelashes with mascara, bree was almost done.

"pout for me." bree said, twiddling a lip balm between her fingers. vienna did as asked and soon her lips were coated with the moisturising, tinted balm.

vienna faced the mirror and grinned, "thank you so much! if i went anywhere near my brows with that pencil, they would probably look like slugs right now."

she laughed, "anytime buttercup."

jace sat up, "you look marvellous pumpkin."

"why thank you jason, how nice of you."

he smiled, "when does he pick you up?"

she checked her phone, "in an hour or so."

"so you wanted some advice on how to act?" jace asked.
