"please don't go." vienna pouted.

finn gave her a sad smile, "i wish i didn't have to but i got to get back to a whiny dylan."

once vienna had finally got out of bed and finn had finally stopped pulling at his hair, the two met outside of vienna's house.

she lightly laughed and put get hands in her hoodie pockets. "i'll miss you finny," she tilted her head slightly.

"i'll miss you more little one," he sighed. he lightly brushed his fingers tips against vienna's cheek, causing her to close her eyes and lean into his touch. after a few moments finn tapped her cheek and removed his hand. "i'll see you soon, don't you worry."

she pushed a smile onto her face and said, "i hope so. have a safe journey back."

finn brought her into a hug and held onto her for dear life. he'd miss this, miss her. since they returned from their date a few days ago, all they've done is sit, cuddle and watch movies together. it was surely the best weekend ever.

vienna felt safe around him, as if nothing could ever happen to her if he was around; she didn't know how she was going to cope in the upcoming months.

"finny!" a high pitched voice called out, causing the two to break apart. hayley ran towards them and jumped onto finn, wrapping her legs around his waist. "don't leave! who's going to take me places now?" she pouted.

finn chuckled, "you've always got vienna! and don't worry kiddo, i'll be back in no time."

hayley nodded eagerly at this, "you promise?" she asked, holding out her pinky. finn linked his with hers and whispered a light 'promise'. "great! ok, let me down now. my dolls need tending to," she made the two teenagers laugh as she slid off finn's torso and ran back to the house.

"i'm going to miss that kid," finn sighed.

"hmm," was vienna could reply since she was to wrapped out in the warmth of finn and his amazing scent.

"hey," he spoke, grabbing vienna's attention, "why don't i take you two out before i leave? i have an hour before i really have to leave."

she smiled at him, "why not? where do you want to go?"

"we could go get some ice cream then go to the park? i saw one when i arrived,"

"ok, i'll go see if hayley is up for it," she turned to walk away from finn but he tugged her arm back, causing her to stumble into his chest. he chuckled as vienna steadied herself, slightly scowling. "you need something?"

finn took vienna's face between his hands, tucking stray pieces of hair behind her ears. he lowered his face until their noses were touching and lightly brushed them together. vienna's eyes widened but only by a little bit, she was too busy trying to focus on her rapid breathing.

"just thought i'd let you know i think you're really, really bloody attractive vienna," he whispered. his words made vienna turn a bright shade of pink and she let out a shaky breath. "flustered are we?"

she glared at him and pushed him away from her, but only by tiny bit, vienna loved his radiating warmth. finn lightly laughed at her stubborn face and pulled her closer to him once again.

vienna sighed, "promise me you'll keep in touch?"

"i promise little one."

"promise you'll call at least once a week?"

"i promise!"

"promise it'll stay the same, that it won't become awkward and forced?"

finn shook his head, "of course i promise that,"

"and," finn gave her stern look and she held up a finger, "and promise you won't find someone better?" she looked down as she said this.

"oh vienna," finn pushed her finger away and held her face in his hands. "who could ever replace someone as amazing as you?" she looked up at him and smiled. finn returned it and placed a light kiss on her forehead.

they stood like that for some time until vienna pulled away, "i'll go get hayley or we'll never end up getting ice cream,"

"we don't have to, we can just stay like this," vienna chuckled and shook her head, "stay here whilst i go grab her." he nodded as his hand travelled down vienna's arm and to her hand. he gave it a gentle squeeze and let her go.
