The last few years

have been tiring,

and trying,

and downright painful.

All through it all

I had someone

who refused to leave my side

and someone

who took all my issues

in as their own willingly.

I never thought

that someday

I would find someone like that

because

I thought I didn't deserve him,

but the universe

likes to prove us wrong

at every possible moment,

and we should always remember that,

because it'll be

a key part

of our lives.
