(flashback)

I helped carry a box down the stairs

making sure

that I looked at every step

so I didn't fall

directly on my face.

Jj

decided

that he wanted to move in

to make things easier.

I agreed

because he already practically already lived

with me.

We had our group helping out.

Brynn

Hailey

and

Kyra

were packing JJ's things into boxes

and everyone else,

mostly

Connor

Damien

and I

were carrying boxes into the apartment.

Ajax,

Donnie

and

Tom

were trying to figure out

how to set up a few book shelves

that they had bought

to put all the random books on.

Brock

and Karter

were rearranging my cupboards

for some reason.

Joey

was sitting with Justin outside in the grass

and JJ

was attempting to unpack

and desperately failing.

He was standing in the study

looking at a wall

that had my paintings on it

thinking,

when I walked in.

"You're not going to get much done

if you just stand there."

He pointed to the wall

and I looked at it too.

I had gotten rid of most of my craft stuff,

or found a way

to shove it into the closet.

Which was easy enough

considering it was a walk in closet.

He was pointing at my painting

of a giant compass,

but I didn't know why.

I picked up the closest box to me

and inside was knick knacks

and paraphernalia.

I went into the living room

and grabbed one of the book shelves,

still in its box,

and went back into the study

where I set it up

and set the contents of the box

up on the shelves.

He took this as a welcome to join in.

the shelves were soon filled with

knick knacks

on the top

and

Painting supplies on the bottom.

I went to the closet

and pulled out a board

that was here when I moved in.

it looked like a cupboard door

but I never had a use for it.

I went and got a hinge from the living room

and attached it to the shelves

that had the paint supplies in it.

I stepped back

and it fit perfectly.

We set up all the book shelves

and ended up buying more.

I'm not sure where we shoved most of them

but they were surely filled

with my books

and notebooks

and JJ's books

and sketch books.

We had pizza

and soda that night

with our family

of friends

and we watched

The Big Bang theory

late into the night

becoming closer

through every minute

we spent together.
