most people would describe pete as a confident and smart young man who was a bad example for younger kids but nevertheless a confident guy.
pete was not confident, he was very smart but he lacked in confidence, pete was very insecure about his body, his words and so on. pete was transgender, meaning he identified as a male but was born in a body with female parts (breasts, vagina, etc.) he was very accepted by his family and friends.
when pete came out to his mom at age 14 the very next month he already had gotten his first shot of testosterone, three days after he came out his mom got him a binder and now at age 20 the kid he cheated on, beat up multiple times, screamed at, forced them to do stuff, the kid that he practically broke is paying for top surgery.
but that kid was stuck in a mental hospital.
