"Zoë! Are you okay?" asks Mari, rushing over.
"I-I think so," stammers Zoë, standing up shakily.
Beside me, James frowns. "So we have to go to the Underworld AND Poseidon's realm? Doesn't that sound, you know, like too much for a bunch of teenagers?" he asks.
"We could split up," suggests Reyna.
"No," I object. "Too risky."
"Hey guys," says Bianca glumly, followed by Asher as she walks back onto the plateau.
"Hey Bianca! We're trying to decide how we should try to find the curse thing," says Cyprian.
Bianca stays silent for a moment, then whips around, and slaps Asher as hard as she can (which is pretty hard). "You! I missed EVERYTHING because 'I get to vulgar and violent'! How's this for vulgar and violent, Stoll?" she hisses.
Asher looks like he's ready to burst into laughter. "I'm sorry, but I had a feeling that Atlas wouldn't be so keen to tell us everything if one of us was using BAD WORDS to him," chuckled Asher.
Bianca glares, furious. "You want bad words, Stoll? I'll give you bad words, you little..." she screams as she chases him down the mountain.
Luckily, her words fade off.
