"Rose!" yells Asher, snapping me out of my dreams.

I leap out of bed and grab my dagger.

"Woah," says Asher, lifting his hands. "It's just me."

I relax, sheathing my dagger. "What's up," I say casually, despite the fact that I almost killed Asher.

Asher's relaxed smirk disappears. "It's Bianca," he says, worried. "She's gone."

My jaw drops and my eyes widen. "What?!"

Asher nods. "We woke up this morning and she was gone," he explains.

I bite my lip. "Did she leave a note?" I ask.

"Not that I know of," Asher responds.

"Guys!" exclaims Cyprian from another room.

I lock eyes with Asher, and we race out.

Cyprian runs into the main room, waving his cell phone with a panicked expression on his face. "Bianca! She texted me!" he exclaims.

"What'd she say?" asks Mari.

Cyprian raises the phone, and I peer at the screen.

Bianca: Help

"Help? Help with what?" asks James.

I roll my eyes. "We don't know, James," I say.

James nods. "Right."

Suddenly, Cyprian stiffens, and collapses.

"Cyprian!" exclaims Zoë.

Then, Cyprian stands up, slowly, like he's in a trance. His green eyes turn purple, and when he speaks, he sounds distant.

"From the nine to the eight,
then seven heroes great,
the prisoner of the sea,
who's life set them free.
The path of the curse shall soon be crossed,
and one of the heroes will be lost."

Then, Cyprian collapses again.

"That's another prophecy," says Asher obviously.

"From nine to eight," ponders Zoë. "That was when Adrien left."

"Then seven heroes great? But there are eight of us," says Mari, baffled.

"Actually, Bianca's missing. So there are seven of us," adds James.

"The prisoner of the sea? Is that Zoë, because of her dad? Or is it the curse?" asks Reyna.

"It could be Bianca. I mean, she is lost in the sea," I offer.

"Who's life shall set them free. It's probably the curse," declares Zoë.

"The path of the curse shall soon be crossed is a little self explanatory," I say.

There's silence.

"And one of the heroes will be lost," states Mari.

"They could mean lost like they can't find us," volunteers Reyna.

"No," says Cyprian, standing up. "One of us is going to die."
