lunchtime again.

i have soup. jenna has pb&j.

we trade.

"so tyler, whats your outlook on life?"
"huh?"

"like how do you view living?"

think for a minute

"wasteful."

"really? i think of it as enjoyable, don't you?"
"no. theres no purpose."
"there has to be though. Otherwise what's the point?"

"exactly. there is none. you know its time to stop once all your problems pile up like snowflakes."

"God doesn't give us anything we can't handle."

bite of sandwich. sip of water.

"what do you think of all these couples tyler? "

"flowers."

"what?"

"their like flowers. they are. bright, happy. together."

"i suppose. what about the loners? what are they?"

"weeds. sad things lurking in the corner. sometimes theres weeds disguised as flowers. those are the kinds that kill the whole garden"

a look to jocks. jenna nodding in understanding.

"what am i?"

turn to her.

"you jenna, you're a daisy. the brightest and sweetest of all the flowers. the one everyone loves."

"what are you?"

"a weed. incapable of ever getting a flower of their own."

"everyone deserves their flower."

"everyone except me."

everyone except the weed in the corner who looks to the daisy.
