Pain

Pain : a noun , an emotion caused physically or is felt emotionally , through mental suffering or distress .

Pain something we feel either physically or mentally , but sometimes both . I noticed how a guy in my class clearly feels some what pain or hurt through both , how his wristbands rest against his wrist . And from what I've noticed he never takes them off .

The shy , but cute guy is called Luke Hemmings he sits at the back of the class every lesson and doesn't talk to people in the class even if he is with a partner for work . Sometimes looks my way but never says ' hi ' or bumps into me to start a convo .

He seems too shy , to talk to me but this is like the one time I'm gonna have to talk to him . I notice my name next to his for the partners our teacher picked .

I sit down next to him , he pulls out one of his headphones I write ' hi ' on a piece of paper sliding it to him . He writes ' hi violet right?' I nod smiling a little , Luke smiles back going back to his drawing .

After writing ' you can talk to me even if its through whispers I don't mind ' he nods whispers " okay " for the first time I actually heard him talk and I don't regret being put with him . I whisper " do you talk at home a lot?" he nods whispers " school I don't talk much only when I have to without the whispering though " smiling a little .

I say " oh makes sense " he nods asks " do you do like drawing or anything to do with music?" thinking back to the notebook in my bag covered in drawings . Luke looks up at me now I say " yeah I have a few in my note books um drawings I listen to music a lot " pulling out my phone with the headphones .

EDEN plays loud in my headphones , I put one in my ear talking to Luke about the project and start sketching ideas of how we are gonna do it . People around us stare noticing Luke is talking and with me , I thought it would shock people .

But I avoid them focusing on Luke talking to me about his life at home and his best friends .

Writer's note : okay so this is an idea ive had for weeks , this is a short chapter next chapters will be longer and from Luke's pov .
