Silence

Luke pov
After last night , Violet hasn't spoke to me and as much as I act like I don't care the more it bothers me . She's sat on the edge of the sofa , staring at the floor .

I tap her shoulder sitting down next to Violet , she hasn't ate breakfast or lunch . She looks up at me , tears blurring her vision .

Pulling Violet into my arms I ask " wanna talk about it?" She shakes her head . I ask " why are you upset? Was it the nightmare?" Violet nods .

Kissing her forehead I whisper " tell me I wanna help " she whispers " it's nothing " . Shaking my head I whisper " it's not nothing it's upsetting you every minute since it happened what's wrong?" .

Violet gets out of my arms going straight into her bedroom , I follow though . I'm not letting her sit alone or cry alone , I'm gonna be there .

She buries herself in the covers , I sit on the bed going under the covers . Small sobs escape her mouth , making my heart drop .

I say " please talk to me Vi " she just ignores me , so I pull her into my arms making Violet face me . She looks straight at my chest not wanting to make eye contact with me .

Cupping her cheeks , I pull her face to look up at me whisper " please at lease look at me " . Violet lets tears fall more , I wipe them away with my thumb .

Once there's a couple moments of her just crying and the moment of me trying to comfort her . Violet whispers " it's gonna be my fault " I whisper " what is gonna be?" .

She shakes her head I say " hey nothing is gonna be your fault " rubbing her back . Violet lays her head on my chest whispers " it was my fault " I shake my head .

Violet PoV
I whisper " it was my fault " Luke shakes his head whispers " no it wasn't whatever your worried about babe isn't gonna be your fault " .

He kisses my head rubbing my back , whispers " what happened?" I whisper " you died ...I tried helping you the voices just got worse I woke up " .

Luke nods thinking for awhile , I look up at him kissing his cheek tracing circles on his chest . He smiles whispers " I'm not going anywhere promise " .

I wonder what happens when his band gets signed , he's going to have to leave for tour . Luke whispers " stop over thinking it I'm always gonna be there for you " .

Nodding I give in stop thinking about it and focus on the now . He says " wanna go out?" I ask " like a date?" Luke says " it can be a date if you want " .

I get up sitting on his stomach I say " really?!" He laughs says " yes " getting off the bed I rush to find clothes . Luke chuckles says " slow down babe I'm gonna pick out your clothes " .

Grabbing my hair straighteners I start on my hair , he grabs them from me doing it for me . I notice the clothes set out on the bed , shorts , tee shirt , cardigan and black shoes .
