I walked down stairs and sat at the kitchen table thinking about last night.. I almost kissed him and I wanted to so bad; I don't know shit about him tho.

DD, walked into the kitchen with a black eye and busted lip.

I frowned."DD what happened to you", I asked.

He looked at me. "I got jumped at school."

"When?"

"Friday, the day you chose to skip", He answered.

"Bruh what did th-."

"And the messed up thing is", He says cutting me off.

"I tried to tell you; but you were too worried about your party."

I sighed. "DD no I..."

He walked out while I was talking.

I rubbed my face with both hands, "fuck."

"He'll be ight DJ, this shit building his character", Quan says before biting into an apple.

"I guess"

"Nah it is", He says looking at me.

He continued. "you been ight", He asked.

"Yeah why?"

"Cause you don't look good", He answered.

"I'm coo"

There was a knock at the door. "Get that for me DJ", Mike says while downing another 40.

"What the fuck you think I was bouta to", I say while walking to the door.

"Don't get smart DJ, you know I will beatcho ass."

I sighed and said. "Mhm", before opening the door.

"Hey", Angie says with a weak smile; She had a bruise on her face and choke marks on her neck.

"Bruh Rocky do this shit to you?", I asked.

"Yeah, after y'all left he started trippin; you know how he is", She says awkwardly laughing.

I pulled her in a hug and held her tight; I can tell whenever she's hurting.

"I'm okay", She says as her eyes watered.

"You can't keep letting him do this, just cause he's yo baby daddy", I say as I wiped her tears and walked her outside; my brothers Rod, Mike and Quan walked out behind us.

"Whatchall finna do?", I asked.

"Start some trouble wit them kelly parks; you coming", Quan asked.

"Nah I'm finna hit up the mall with Angie."

"Nigga you know you don't like the mall", Mike says with a frown.

"But she do", I say in a duh tone.

"Ight have fun y'all", Quan says giving me dap.

"Strong", He says with a smile.

"Strong", I say while laughing.

Mike kissed Angie's lips and slapped her ass before following Rod and Quan.

"Ehh" , I say while shaking my head.

Me and Angie took the bus to the mall and it was so many people there and lord knows I hate the mall.

I sat in a chair and waited for Angie to finish getting her nails done and then I followed her as she went from store to store buying shit.

"Where you get all this money?", I asked.

"Mike", She said while walking into a clothing store.

"So y'all a thang now?", I questioned.

"I guess. If you don't mind..."

I laughed. "Girl I don't care."

We heard some niggaz laughing and looked in their direction.

"Ooooh there go yo boyfriend", She says pointing to Eric.

I laughed, "Girl he ain't thinking about me."

"Then why he walking over here?"

I looked back in their direction and saw him walking our way.

"Oh shit he is", I say a little surprised.

"Wassup y'all", He says mainly focusing on me.

He had a gang of guys behind behind him.

"Wassup Eric and.... Entourage", I say looking at them.

Eric laughed, "These tha niggaz, this is Ren, cube, Yella and dre."

Angie smirked, "Dre kinda cute."

"Nigga", I say as I playfully hit her arm.

"Whatchall finna get into?", Eric asked.

"Well me and dre finna chill; you and her gone go and have some fun", Angie says with a smile.

I shooke my head thinking. "She ain't gone leave me alone with him." But there her little ass was walking away with Dre... Damn.
