Ariana's P.O.V.

"What is the probability that the student chosen is taking biology but not Spanish?"I ask my partner Trevor and point to the math question.

"The probability is eleven percent"Trevor answers me.

"Thats correct, good job. Your really good at this"I smile at him. "I'm not that good. Your way better at math than I am"He says. "Believe it or not, math is my least favorite subject"I tell him.

"What's your favorite subject than?"He asks me. "Literature, because I love poetry. I'm a songwriter so poetry connects a lot with the music I write"I say.

"Would you mind writing down a few verses from a song you wrote?"He asks me and I hesitate before answering him.

"My music is really personal. I don't really share what I write with people"I tell him. "Please, I promise I won't judge"He begs and I sigh.

"Fine, only a few verses"I give in and take a out a separate blank sheet of paper. I quickly jot down a few lyrics from a song I wrote a few years ago called Almost Is Never Enough.

Trevor grabs the paper and reads the lyrics I wrote out loud.

"Almost, almost is never enough
So close to being in love
If I would have known that you wanted me the way I wanted you
Then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart
But right here in each other's arms
And we almost, we almost knew what love was
But almost is never enough"He reads.

He looks back up at me and puts the paper down.

"Wow, these lyrics are beautiful. Your really talented"He tells me. "Thanks"I smile and thank him.

"I'm serious, you have an amazing gift"He says. He places his hand on top of mine and stares at me deeply.

"Attention students, class has come to an end. You and your partner can turn in your work on your way out. I hope you all have a great day"The teacher announces. Students begin to grab their stuff and leave.

I pull my hand away from Trevor and stand up. He stands up as well and follows me down to the teacher's desk so we can turn our work in.

"Well, I guess I'll see you next week"I begin to wave goodbye to Trevor as we walk out of class, but he stops me by grabbing my arm with a soft grip.

"I was wondering...."He nervously scratches the back of his head. "If you wanted to go out sometime"He finishes his sentence which causes me to widen my eyes at his question.

"I-I have a boyfriend Trevor"I answer him honestly. "Oh...I didn't realize. I'm sorry"He says and lets go of my arm.

"I should have known that a beautiful girl like you would be dating someone"He adds and I feel my heart melt at his words.

"Your a good looking guy, I'm sure there are a ton of girls who want to go out without you"I say. "Yea but you were the only one I wanted. I've had a thing for you ever since the beginning of the semester. I just haven't had the courage to ask you out until now"He looks down at the ground and away from my eyes.

"I'm happy in my relationship with my boyfriend. I know that he's the one for me, and he'll always be. I hope your able to find someone who you can be in a happy relationship with as well. I'm not the one for you but someone out there is. Don't give up hope on looking for the right girl, you'll find her"I tell Trevor and he lifts his head back up.

"Your right, your not the one but someone out there is. Thanks for advice, I'll keep looking for her"He smiles and thanks me.

"I have to go or I'll be late to my next class. I'll see you next week"I tell him and pull him in for a quick hug.
