"ALPHYS!"

Alphys woke up, started and fell off her chair.

"G-gaster?!", She couldn't believe her eyes to see the supposedly-dead scientist.

It seems he has a tear-streaken face.

That's when she noticed him.

Hiccup, his HP zero and has a wound in his chest. Dead.

" O-OH NO!!!", She hurled.

♦♥♦

Surrounded by clouds, Hiccup took a deep breath.

He doesn't remember what happened or if he died, apparently.

He was filled with.....

Nothing.

No DETERMINATION.

No KINDNESS.

Just.....

BLANK.

Strange. Traits are what made a person him\her.

Yet, why doesn't he feel anything?

He looked around. No one was there. He wanted to be scared.

He wanted to feel SOMETHING.

But there's nothing. Nothing at all.

" Sigh. T-THERE!", Alphys triumphed.

Alphys placed Hiccup's body in a glass coffin with soul placements, in case they found his soul lying around and such- what? It could happen.

"Well done, Alphys", Gaster complimented. " I hope this is enough."

Alphys turned to Gaster. "G-gaster, why are you here and not in the void?"

Gaster paused. " Well, A vine wrapped over me and saved me from going back into the void."

Alphys sighed. "I think you should take a look at your soul, sir."

Hiccup found himself standing in front of a god. Not just any god.

The highest god possible. The ALMIGHTY God.

Hiccup would have been flattered if he can feel.

"Hello, Hiccup", God greeted.

" Hello, sir", Hiccup did a little bow. Then he shifted uncomfortably. "Would you mind telling me how I got here?"

God chuckled. "You mean you don't remember?"

Hiccup shook his head. God sighed. "It's a shame."

Gaster and Alphys, along with Toriel, the remaining humans, Papyrus and Sans took a look at his soul. There it was.

Gaster's soul is the color of Hiccup's Green\Red soul.

Or is it just the color that's Hiccup's?

God explained. "You saved Gaster from getting sucked into the void. Yet you ended up impaling yourself in your chest by one of Gaster's sharp bones."

Hiccup went silent. 'Well, that explains why i'm here', he thought.

God continued on. "And on your last moments of your life, you gave your soul to Gaster so he could live peacefully with his sons."

Hiccup took a moment to sink this all in. 'Well, at least he's happy now.', He spoke in his mind.

God held a hand to him. "Ready to go to the afterlife?"

Hiccup was about to take his hand but....

He hesitated.

Sans touched the glass coffin. Then he had this crazy idea.

"Guys!", He called. " I have an idea on how to bring our friend back, but it might be crazy."

Everyone looked at him. Sans placed his hand- which glowed light-blue, the color of his soul- in the soul placement. Then everyone got what he's trying to do.

Undyne placed her hand next.

Rapunzel, Jack and Merida slammed their hands in.

Chara just put her hand in with newfound hope.

Gaster, Mettaton and Alphys then put theirs next.

Blueberry, Ink, Fresh and Error put theirs last.

Just then,a human ghost girl- Frisk- appeared and put her hand in.

"Ready?", Sans asked.

" READY!", Everybody yelled and put a portion of their powers in.

Hiccup looked behind him.

Then, he started to feel something.

LONGING

He withdrew his hand and looked at God. "I'm sorry.", He apologized. "But I love my friends and I-I can't seem t-to leave them."

God then gave him a gentle hug. Then told Hiccup " If you're ready to come to my kingdom, say the words and I'll personally pick you up myself. No pain this time."

With relief, Hiccup nodded, hugged God once again and waved goodbye while heading to the mortal world with DETERMiNATION.

A little drained, the monsters and humans withdrew to see what happened.

When nothing happened, they turned away sadly.

Merida went full on crying now near Hiccup's body as she uncapped the coffin.

A hand wiped her tears. Then, she was stunned to see the gentle emerald eyes she was longing to see again.

"Don't cry", Hiccup reassured her. " I'm here."

"HICCUP!", She screamed, getting the rest of the persons' attention.

Then they shared a heartmelting group hug.

And Hiccup couldn't wish better than his loyal friends.
