I TOOK a sip of my hot espresso habang tutok ang mga mata ko sa laptop. Isang katok ang umagaw sa aking atensyon.
"Boss, nagpadala na po kami ng mga taong magbabantay kay Miss Hailey."
I looked up and was met with Xander.
"Okay."
"And I received a call from Knoxx that your fiancee is complaining about this idea."
Napabuntung-hininga ako. Alam ko namang hindi magugustuhan ni Hailey ang ipinag-utos ko. Iniwan na ako ni Xander. Well, I'm a businessman and a mafia too. My transactions are all legal but those assholes keeps ruining me.

Suddenly, tumunog yung telepono sa intercome. Kinuha ko iyon upang sagutin yung tawag.
"This is Hunter Louis Sylverio, speaking.", I said in my most professional business-like tone.
"Hello there, Sylverio."
Nadiinan ko lalo ang pagkakahawak sa telepono nang marinig ang pamilyar nitong boses. It was Trevor Tristan Cross or Trent.
Another rival comes from other mafia family. The boss of Red Dragons. "What do you want?", asik ko.
Narinig ko ang bahagyang pagtawa ni Trent sa kabilang linya. "Tsk. What do I want? I'm curious too."
Nangunot ang noo ko. "What do you mean?"

Napalunok ako. Kumuyom yung isa kong kamay. "We don't need your fucking gift."

KANINA pa namin pinapanood ni Trisha yung boss namin na si Ma'am Thalia at yung mga costumers namin na tila naglalaway na sa pagpapapansin dun sa mga men in black. Yung iba kunwari pang bibili ng bulaklak, iyun pala panonoorin lang nila yung mga lalaki sa labas.
