"O, you two are still awake pa?" I asked Ara and Cae nang madatnan ko sila sa kusina, they are sitting at the kitchen counter with their phones at may dalawang baso ng gatas sa harapan nila.
It's past midnight nang makaramdam ako ng uhaw, I decided to go down to get myself some water at ito ang nadatnan ko sa kusina.
"Opo Mommy, can't sleep eh." Cae answered, nga pala, the both of them are sleeping at the guest room. They're sharing the same bed at queen size rin 'yon kaya, kasya sila.
"Why? Is there something bothering the both of you?" I asked again, kumuha ako ng baso at binuksan ang ref to get some cold water.
Inilapag ko ang pitcher ng tubig sa counter and looked at them, they seem too hesitant to answer me. Ano kaya iyon?
"Come on, spill it out." wika ko, Ara shot her sister a stare before answering my question.
"Ganto kasi iyon Ma, supposedly, hanggang December 30 lang kami rito, we have classes to attend at marami rin kaming bagay na naiwan sa NYC. We need to go back there. But the thing is, mukhang walang plano si Daddy na umuwi kami dun." Ara explained. That's why..
Sa sobrang saya namin, we almost forgot na Ara and Cae are only here for vacation. They won't be staying permanently for awhile kasi ang daming bagay na naiwan nila dun sa NYC. May hangganan rin pala ang kasayahan namin, and it sucks.
"So you want me to convince your Dad na umuwi na kayo ng NYC?" I asked them.
Agad namang umiling si Ara sa tanong ko.
"No! I mean, yes, we're asking you to convince Dad pero hindi po iyong umuwi kami sa NYC." she said na ikinataas ng kilay ko.
"What do you mean?"
She looked at Cae, signalling her to speak and Cae took a deep breathe first before saying a word.
"We want you to convince Dad that we should continue our studies here at the Philippines, please Mommy. Ayaw naming mahiwalay ni Ate sa inyo, please convince him na we should stay here permanently."

"Hi babes!" bati ko kay Aga the moment I entered our room, kakaakyat ko lang after my discussion with Ara and Cae.
Akala ko tulog na itong si Aga, gising pa pala. Nakaupo siya sa kama habang nakasandal ang ulo niya sa headboard, there's a laptop on his lap which he immediately closed the noment he saw me entered our room.
"Ang tagal mo, nag-vigil ka pa ba sa baba?" he asked me jokingly as he put his laptop at the side table.
I shot him a death glare at sumampa ako sa kama, umupo rin ako at sinandal ko ang ulo ko sa balikat niya.
Well, I need to convince him so I need to be sweet and seductive.
"Babes, there's something I need to tell you." I said.
"Ano iyon?" he asked then he gasped. "Wag mong sabihing buntis ka? Magiging Daddy na ba ulit ako babes?" dagdag pa niya. I rolled my eyeballs in frustration, pasensya pa Lei, pasensya pa..
"Of course not!" I blurted out.
"Eh ano?"
I took a deep breath first at humarap sa kanya, here goes nothing..
"You see, ngayon lang ulit tayo na kompleto. Ayaw ko ng maghiwalay tayo. Uhm, can you let Tamara and Caeleah continue their studies here? Para hindi na sila uuwi pa ng NYC?" tanong ko sa kanya, at first mukhang naguluhan siya sa tanong ko pero agad din namang nakabawi. He smiled at me, exposing his cute dimples.
"Matagal ko ng napag-isipan iyan, babes. I'm thinking to transfer them sa school mismo ni Ada. Besides, kaya ko nga ipinagawa ang bagong bahay natin for all of us to live there, 'di ko iyon pinagawa para lang maanayan ano!" wika niya at napangiti na lang ako dun.
As expected, ayaw niya ring magkahiwalay kami! I leaned forward to kiss him on the cheeks.
"Thank you! Cae and Ara will be so happy to know that I already convinced you, also Ada!" I happily exclaimed, kunot-noo siyang napatingin sakin.
"They asked you to convince me?" he asked, I nodded.
"Yup, kaya ako natagalan dahil nag-usap pa kaming tatlo sa baba!" I told him, tumango lang siya.
"Buti naman at gusto rin pala nilang mag-aral dito sa Pinas, I thought they wouldn't like it here." he said. I arched an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Ara is part of the Student Council back at their school sa NYC, she's also the lead or should I say the Captain of their Volleyball team. While Cae, she's the President of the Theatre Club at parte rin siya ng Drill Team, you know, cheerleaders and stuffs." pagkwento niya and I can't help not to be amazed by our daughters!
Wow, Cae is a cheerleader? She dreamt to became one back then! And Ara's good at volleyball pala? Akala ko kasi sa Fashion Industry lang ang hilig niya.
Oh well, I'll bond with those two soon! Marami rin pala akong hindi alam tungkol sa kanila and it kinda hurts for my side. Ako mismo na Ina nila, hindi alam ang mga hilig nila? Kailangan kong bumawi and show them how lucky I am to have them as my daughters.
