It had been a week since Chanel had chosen to stay away from her phone. It had surprisingly actually helped her clear her mind. She followed her daily schedule and went to work, falsely informing everyone that she had accidentally broken her phone for the time being.

Chanel looked at the space above fridge. She had enjoyed this week so much. She questioned if she really wanted to have her phone back. Chanel reached above the fridge and searched for her phone. When her hand landed on a small smooth, she grabbed it.

She looked at her phone. It was still turned off. She contemplated if she wanted to turn it on or not. Chanel felt at peace with out it. She wasn't sure how many texts and calls she had missed. Probably not a lot, she told to herself. I don't even have anymore friends.

Finally choosing, Chanel put her phone back on top of the fridge. Maybe one more week. She convinced myself.
